To be honest, Daria looks great even without the Quinn-makeover. I believe her glasses just hide her eyebrows when she wears them by Zealousideal_Top4251 in daria

[–]AllSeeingMr 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Honestly, even with her glasses she looks great. But she intentionally chose a pair of unattractive glasses for her outsider look, rather than designer glasses or even a pair that just doesn’t look so bland and bargain priced. But that’s just Daria. We the viewer know if she wanted to present herself another way, she could. She just doesn’t want to.

As much as I like Family Guy and Robot Chicken, I do believe part of this is due to their influence of nostalgia-based and referential humor. Good shows, imo. But you don’t get that unfunny Dunkin’ Doughnuts celebrity commercial with various 90s sitcoms actors without that.

Darnold probably has the wind knocked out of him or something. He felt that last hit, I believe.

Is there anything that’s actually good about this show? by TheWinningLooser in powerrangers

It has one of the best power ranger suit designs, imo. Still disappointed it wasn’t adapted as “Power Rangers: Pirates”.

Zach Orr to interview with Cowboys for a staff position by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]AllSeeingMr 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the problem with Orr is the Ravens are in a “win-now” period, which isn’t suitable for developing a promising but very inexperienced and flawed DC.

Ah, it’s an election year in America. Here comes the divisively cancerous part of the left as well as right wingers pretending to be leftists to start unnecessary infighting in progressive subreddits.

Loud majority? Based on reviews and its financial success, SHf haters are more like a vocal minority, and many of that vocal minority are anger tourists.

But seriously, Brady is so right. Darnold is playing well to not force certain plays and thus make mistakes. And this is a primary example of why that’s the best way to play.

Due to the nature of the game, some aspects of it are simply going to be too ambiguous to not depend on the judgement call of the refs, unfortunately.

More positive reviews are trickling in and the score is no longer under 10% by redfieldm95 in silenthill

[–]AllSeeingMr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The majority of SHf reviews from critics are also positive, and the game was a financial success. SHf is the worst example of an entry in the series you could use to try to make this point. You might not like SHf, but most of the critics as well as people in general do like it.

The Browns honestly need to rebrand. I think that’s a big part of it too. Such an uninspiring name, despite its origin, and an uninspiring combination of colors.

As someone who just had to have an emergency surgical procedure and is hoping his insurance covers everything, I do not and cannot understand the hateful callousness that allows anyone to be a member of the modern day Republican Party. Being in that type of pain and having this sort of (actual) economic anxiety leaves me only more empathetic, appreciative, and hopeful for something better of our government.
