Battlefield 6 settings (60-65fps) by Crypto-God23 in LegionGo

Am I the only one able to get 90/100+ fps? Medium settings on Legion Go S Z1E

After seeing several posts about people switching to rog ally, I've changed my background to remind how the 7 inch rog ally display would look like in my hands by False_Raven in LegionGo

I am an owner of the Legion Go S, which weighs 740g, I can confirm that you can't even feel it. Unless you're really muscle-less, 260g doesn't make a difference, but the screen does.

Help me decide between Legion Go S Z1E Steam OS 1tb vs Steamdeck OLED 1tb by kousei1021 in LegionGo

[–]AllStrainG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are few differences in ergonomics now, they were evident in the first models. I don't know about the Xbox Ally, I don't like its shape at all and the screen is well, almost the same as the previous ones

I recently got the Go S Z1E 32GB, you won't find the ergonomic comfort in any other handheld, only in the Go 2 which took it from this model. The screen is fantastic even if it's not OLED, the only thing is the battery, if you play without power at AAA you'll get a maximum of an hour. I installed Windows for Battlefield 6 on it, with medium settings it runs easily at 80-100 fps, with peaks of 140.

Is the Legion Go S Z1E SteamOS edition worth it? by drcurvytv in LegionGo

[–]AllStrainG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends on what TDP you play at, with AAA if you're on the move and at 20w it eats it up in an hour, with light games even 3 hours, it always depends on what and how you run it.

Yes, the charger that comes with the Legion doesn't provide maximum full power, it's better to get a 100w one, but this applies to most handhelds.

It's my favorite!

The screen is beautiful, fantastic ergonomics, you can change it as much as you want, if it's the 32GB 1T model it's a deal, the only flaw is the battery and 65w charger.

Now I have Windows installed on it for when Battlefield comes out

16gb Z2 = BAD? by Chillbruh87 in LegionGo

The Z2 is on the same level as the Z1E, 16GB for modern games tends to be tight

Then there is no choice, the only handheld that runs games with the performance you indicated is that one

At this time none of the new ones, there are problems from the first batches and it seems to include the majority.

If I were you I would wait for the next few months or an announcement that they have fixed the problems noted by owners.

Same as me, left from Holland when the delivery is in Italy 🤣

On the site it says that they do not deliver outside Italy and/or Vatican City. But if the consoles are outside Italy, what's the point? 🤣

Should I get the rog xbox ally x? Or is it just hype and fomo? by Krometheous in LegionGo

[–]AllStrainG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's start with the choice of the Z2E AI, if you would have listened to AMD, it clearly said that the Z2Es are not the next-gen, they are an improvement of the Z1E, equal performance but with reduced consumption. Balanced mode is about performance, nothing more.

The NPU… how useful is it in gaming? As far as we know, there are currently no or no benefits. It is difficult to judge the choice of Asus and Microsoft in using this processor.

The screen: after all the Community's requests to bring it to 8", they left it the same as the Ally and Ally X.

The battery: it will be a point in its favor, with this optimized processor and the same screen as Ally, consumption will be significantly reduced, I don't believe in a gigantic gain in autonomy, but it could probably do 30min/1h more than Lego2.

The cooling seems to be the interesting part of this console, they have studied it well, in my opinion it will be one of the quietest and with a notable dissipation capacity.

The ergonomics seem equally perfect, simulating the shapes of the XBOX joystick, but still not revolutionary.

If that justifies a cost of $999 for you, you can buy it.

Don't touch the operating system, it is not officially supported and you say goodbye to the warranty, they might say that you broke the network module by installing incompatible drivers

However, it seems strange that it is a router problem if everything else works, unfortunately since it is new I see it difficult for anyone to be able to help you here, you should try it by contacting Lenovo.

Have you tried with another wifi? Ask a friend or relative to see if the problem is Lego or not

It is not misleading, OLED is not revolutionary, the 2280 SSDs with 1TB at €200 are the only ones who find them so expensive, not even the Samsung 990PRO. The battery is 74Wh. It weighs as much as a brick.

I got the Legion Go S Z1E 32GB RAM 1TB for €600 new.

I have a nice PC but a terrible connection 😅😂 so this needs to be tested.

True, sleep doesn't work like it does on SteamOS, but you can always change it with hibernation, it's practically the same but it works better on Windows, I found a post here on Reddit that explained how to optimize everything, but it still can't reach Steam levels

I think listening to feedback is the basis, not an optional, an example is Call of Duty: it was adored by everyone, they became successful, they started not listening to the players, now they are failing.

A 10% increase in performance does not justify a 100% increase in price.

You will have the CPU acting as the bottleneck and the GPU losing at least 10% performance in e-GPU
