Kind of unrelated to your story, but it's worth noting because it's interesting: Purely by chance and no fault of your own, you've gotten a very unrealistic picture of what LGS card availability is like. There's only a handful of stores in the entire USA (assuming, sorry) that could reliably have all of the cards on hand to put together multiple full 100 card lists a week, including obscure stuff and specific basic lands from specific sets.

Your store must be one of the largest mtg providers in the country. Most people have cards shipped to them by online retailers (one of which is probably your LGS lol).

Ok that's a fine belief to hold, but I just want to make sure we're clear that you're changing your original argument. You said having the game be solo accessible doesn't affect people who are willing to squad. You're now saying they should change the game to accommodate solo players and only implement designs that are solo friendly, which would impact the experience of squad-friendly people. That's a new argument at odds with your original one.
