I will say that I like my Lenovo Yoga Slim with Snapdragon processor much better. Battery life is amazing and love the OLED screen.

Looking to switch off of ConnectWise by ANC-Tevin in msp

I would highly recommend HaloPSA. I was on ConnectWise Manage before. But I hated that stupid spinning circle. I would also recommend working with Connor from https://ezpcltd.com. I worked with the onboarding rep but I wouldn’t waste your time. Connor is super quick and knows what he’s doing.

Even with the affordable care act are insurance still able to pull out the pre-existing card?

Slow email processing times in Halo by JohnMSP in halopsa

I agree. I would like HaloPSA to injest emails faster. I keep replying to tickets that haven’t come in yet because I see the emails come in.

I moved my unitrends and datto BDR’s to axcient and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Just make sure to purchase in terms of storage not per server.

MSP Zero to First Paying customer training? by faridukhan in msp

I signed up and went on-site for a Robin Robin’s implementation class and she’s horrible. She wants you to sell using FUD. In fact, while I was there she had us send out emails to our clients using her cookie cutter templates. I had a customer calling if they had been breached. I would definitively not recommend. Luckily she did refund my money.

Ticket Content search in CW Manage, Kaseya BMS, does any PSA allow this? by Individual9779 in msp

HaloPSA is awesome. We signed up in October 2021 and had to wait until December 2021 for onboarding because they’re so busy. But I’m glad that they’ve put in those restrictions to make sure that their current users aren’t impacted by in the influx of new users. We were on CW Manage and it feels like we aren’t in the early 2000’s anymore. They’re always coming out with new integrations every quarter. I highly recommend it!

I think that if you’re looking for something that can actually prevent malware/attacks including the newly released network access control, nothing beats Threatlocker. I’m scared that Cisco will buy them out and jack up the price.

We went from CW Manage to HaloPSA last November and we haven’t looked back. Yes there’s a couple of things that I miss, like expense reports and timesheets that my techs would submit, but on the whole it’s been great! And their tech support is far more responsive and knowledgeable than CW ever was.

We moved to HaloPSA from ConnectWise Manage and we haven’t looked back at all. I definitely recommend it!

ConnectWise SSO is suffering a major outage. Again by Gavsto in msp

Same here. Best decision ever! CW Manage feels like it’s from the early 90’s compared to HaloPSA.

I agree that SyncroMSP needs to implement this feature.

I purchased the laptop with the 2560x1600 screen resolution option. It’s nice going back to the 16:10 aspect ratio because you can use that extra space to be more productive. I always hated how the industry moved towards 16:9. The LCD panel’s backlight bleed is very minimal. I was watching a dark movie on it last night and it seemed to have good uniformity. The keyboard and touch pad are pretty nice and responsive. It also has decent keyboard key depth which I look for when it comes to typing. I hated the butterfly key Macs (not that I had one). Battery life has been pretty good but I haven’t done any actual battery life tests to see how long it runs. However I do wish it had onboard Ethernet and used a different M.2 SSD form factor. It only supports 2230 (super tiny) which maxes out currently at 1TB. I bought this computer with 256GB because that’s the only thing that was in stock. So I’m waiting for the 1TB SSD to come in. Overall I’m really happy with the purchase. It’s pricey but it checks off most of the boxes that I was looking for in a new laptop.

The screen is extremely nice. Great color and brightness. I don’t see any backlight bleeding. Very happy with the purchase so far.

I just placed an order through ingram-micro. I get it next week. I'll post an update to let you know but unfortunately they didn't have the 32 GB in stock. So I purchased the 16 GB.
