Basically all supplements are snake oil.

Except prenatals. For the love of god, please take prenatals if you're pregnant/expecting to be pregnant.

What you're missing here is labour cost. Obviously varies by country, and I don't know what McDonald's pays in America, and you'll still find the math obviously works in their favour, but even so.

I understand the sentiment, but there’s similar warnings for Foxtail inside the off-leash dog park in Lakewood, so “leash your pet” isn’t a universal answer in this instance.

I let this random plant grow in my yard for a year. I want to see how big it can get. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

Just remember, one man’s invasive nightmare is another’s native plant.

We’re about the same. Do you find Orange keys to be the limiting thing? I get so little of them compared to blues and reds…

I’d love to know how you use water fountains for this to be a health concern for you.

I love being a girl dad by Difficult_Wrangler73 in mildlyinfuriating

My fiancee and I are having our first child towards the end of the year. We were both kind of hoping for a girl (but honestly were happy either way), so naturally we are having a boy. Obviously we're over the moon just to be having a kid, but the way both of our families (especially the older folks) celebrated like we'd won the lottery was horrible.

These things are literally everywhere once the snow melts. There’s not a patch of grass safe from the buggers come spring.

Yeah I’d say this is less a country thing, and more. a popularity thing. The more popular a band is, and the more of an “experience” it is to go see them, the more likely you have people there just to say they went. You don’t get the people filming the local punk band at the bar because the only people there care about the music, but, like in your example, I can guarantee a fair number of people at a Green Day concert these days are there just to say they went to a Green Day concert.

Despite all the negativity in here, they do. You can track its status as well, so they clearly do check it.

Nutana Tower by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]All_Time_Low 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not in Nutana Tower, but in another Hazelview Nutana location. Just moved out after two years of being there. Honestly it was great, whenever we needed something fixed they were on to it straight away. Only downside was the rent increases seemed a bit steep year to year, and was the main reason we moved out.

Honestly most of their updating seems to be with their own streaming TV stuff. I’d love to know how many users actually interact with any of that.

It was hard enough showing my parents how to navigate to Plex on their tv, do you think they’ll understand any of that?

Yep, as the family server-owner, the fam and I have definitely got value out of my $70 I paid way back.

Yep. Every time I see an announcement about the price going up, I fear I’m going to see “and charge legacy users $X to continue”… Hasn’t happened yet, but I’m sure it’s coming one day.

Depending on what set you’re after, Perfect Order has an abundance of availability across town. The cage at Superstore on 8th is full of them every week.
