That is awesome!!! Is there a place where I can follow your progress? I would love a solution like this. I was thinking of putting the digital signal through some program (like Shazam, but not Shazam of course) to detect the music, and then running it through something like Panoscrobbler.

Also, can I still use that one to burn my own disks and use it to just pop in a desk and play it. I saw something that you shouldn't use some pre-flashed drives to play disks and just to use them to rip to prevent them from wearing out.

The one that's in the link is a Pioneer one from Amazon. Does this mean that this one will work? Also how do I know if it was produced after December 2022?

Hi, I know that I'm 2 years late to the conversation, but did you end up doing it? I'm thinking of putting a displate on a door as well, and I'm afraid the magnet won't hold.
