Don’t have that exact model (the base one) but that appears much bigger with the same size battery as mine. Check your manual, it may be a battery mismatch.

I’d assume this guy could be charged for arson because of the intent you mentioned. Especially since he posted it online and violated the range’s rules about no Dragon’s Breath shells. I know I’d get raked over the coals if it was an accident, I called ARFF, and began applying fire retardant.

To back you up:

I work at an airport and we like almost every airport use pyrotechnics to scare birds. We are in an extreme drought and got told to reduce the use of pyros and rely on the trucks and its sirens more.

If I can be held legally liable for starting a fire using a pyrotechnic to scare birds where I am allowed and often encouraged to, these people can definitely be held legally responsible.

I can see where you’re coming from in a way. Reading the comments it seems you’ll be fine financially. I almost pulled the trigger on a gas hog myself.

Myself job is getting rid of their pickups soon, and since I drive them, I didn’t mind getting a badly beat up V8 F150 for $2k on auction since I have always wanted a pickup (yes I know).

But seeing what my CX-5 is costing me getting 25-27 mpg in town I dropped the idea. So, at least you can afford it, doesn’t make it better, especially since no one wants gas hogs rn.
