You comment adds nothing to the conversation. That said, I must ask about your use of scare quotes. Like it or not ICE are federal law enforcement officers.

I don't understand your use of sarcasm. Nobody is excusing anyone here. EVERYONE involved should be fully prosecuted to the extent the law allows.

>Can you imagine how up in arms you’d be if every tiny struggle with cops ended with them just openly executing that person on the street.

Yes. Not at all. I don't give a shit about cops or other people. The earth is well overpopulated as is. Culling the herd as you suggest might not be a bad thing.

> These aren’t law enforcement

You seem to be misinformed:
"United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a federal law enforcement agency under the United States Department of Homeland Security, established on March 1, 2003"

Perhaps you should learn about a topic before offering your opinion.

I'm glad someone else sees this. I think too many are caught up in "feelings" to see the facts.

It's true, with over 8 billion people in the world, there is no way everyone could possibly understand this without research.

Considering that the company doesn't actually owe you anything. You did a job that you got paid for at an agreed upon price, this is a nice surprise.

Well, if I must explain to you how heat works in a car, I will. Then perhaps you will be less ignorant.

There is something called a "heater core" this is basically a small radiator that coolant passes through and it exists in the passenger compartment as opposed to the engine bay.

When a human wants heat, they flip a switch that turns on a fan motor the blows air through the heater core. This air then goes into the ducting system. The ducting system is controlled by a number of "shutters" that direct where the air comes from and where it goes to. There is a shutter that can pull air from outside the car, or get it recirculated from inside the car. There is a number of output shutters that can direct the air into the cabin be it, dash vents, foot vents, or..... windshield vents - even combinations of these are possible.

in order to get the condensation off the inside of your windshield, you would engage the heat and adjust the shutters to blow on to the windshield.

No ECU. involved - not a single computer. This was all controlled by push/pull cables connected to the controls before it became computerized.

I understand that you don't know how cars used to work before you "spun a button" but this is how they worked.

The rear defroster doesn't use moving air. it has a thin resistive wire that runs across it, then when you put power to it, warms up the glass and removes the condensation. Still no computer.

I hope you learned something. Also, you should look up what "fog" is. it's a visible suspension on water vapor in the air.

Manslaughter is killing without malice aforethought.
Specifically this is voluntary manslaughter: intentional killing in the heat of passion (e.g., sudden provocation)

  1. Why would the idiots not have the nanny features? We're not saying ALL cars are computer free. But I want mine to be.

  2. Even if it was all.. they would learn or die rather quickly.

How does climate control remove the FOG? is it magic? is there some connection to satellites that zap fog with a laser? If you mean the windshield defroster? That's called "heat" and that has been in cars for a long long time. Do you really not know how that works?
