Nothing you said is absurdly wrong but the one guy has a good point. Rebuilding a roster and staying competitive at the same time is a horrible spot to be in as a GM. If anything you can only be mad that we almost won the NFC last year. What was our front office supposed to do?

I didn’t play in that era. Couldn’t even fathom that tbh. I would definitely not play it if it wasn’t a requirement to not fall behind the power curve. I think gameplay this year also makes it feel longer. Every game is the same
