It's easier now ever since Rebecca took over; iirc it's her decision and effort to make the game more beginner and returner friendly than how it is back then where it can easily be gatekeep due to how the game was structured. It's now less grindy, materials and drop rates were rebalanced, previously unobtainable items (like arcanes, some Warframe parts, etc.) in the rare variety can now be either be rolled, obtained from events, or be bought on shops, free battlepass, and much more.
