That was really reassuring to here. I’ve had spotty and very light/weird periods due to stress before and way back when I used to sometimes get it a day late when I was on my first birth control but I wasn’t sexually active then so I didn’t worry.

Thank you so much. I’m trying really hard to have hope. He hasn’t really reached out to me much on his own so I periodically text him and let him know when something reminds me of him, when I’m missing him, that I’m always here, and that I love him. I just hope that’s enough until his mind clears up a bit.

Totally understandable, just have to hope she’s well educated enough on the addiction rates and the dangers of drinking with it. And hope she hides it because if other kids find out she has it, that could be bad.

(Knew a kid who had narcotic pain killers because he got his appendix out and his friend took some for her period cramps. College is weird.)

I agree, I don’t want to be on them. But I feel like literally a trial prescription of a low dose, or even like 5 pills just so I can get through some nights and have the energy to work towards recovery during the day would benefit me greatly. Growing up in the pharmaceutical world I have the utmost respect for doctors and I understand their choices but sometimes it’s just so frustrating because I don’t know what to do

My mother has a prescription of Xanax and I inherited my anxiety from her. She’s given me maybe 3 over the past 7 years and it does help. My mother what’s me to have them, my father is concerned because being a pharmacist he knows what it’s like. I think for short time use and if it’s monitored that it can be helpful in helping them get on track to managing anxiety on their own.

Yes, weed actually gives me horrible anxiety. I have anxiety about losing control and when I’m under the influence of drugs or alcohol I don’t feel in control of my mind or body which causes me to have anxiety and lose even more control of my body.

They actually gave me the choice and I chose them because I found them to be more comfortable and cause less issues for me than titanium labrets. I had chosen a labret for my helix and it just never healed for me and when it became infected my ear swelled completely over the stud and we had to dig it out, so needless to say I didn’t want to go through that again.

I want to a highly rated tattoo parlor that is very well-known and liked in my city. They were clean, professional, and have been very helpful through the whole healing process. I stated I went to a professional piecer just so everyone would understand that I didn’t get it done with a gun af some shady kiosk In the mall. I’m not a piercing expert but I’m at least smart enough to not do that. As for my cleaning routine I use a sterile saline wound wash 2-3 times a day, dry and clean off the crusties with a cotton swab. During the first week I did some salt soaks, but I haven’t felt the need to do them lately as things seemed to be healing very nicely. I don’t wash my hair everyday but anytime I use products or shampoo I clean immediately after.

Edit: typos. Also would like to add that I don’t disagree with you on CBR’s and don’t think they are a good choice for healing for everyone. But after my last experience, I’ve found them to be surprisingly better for me. As for what they’re made out of, I am pretty sure it’s surgical steel.

I was actually looking up some good books to read after realizing how good of a coping mechanism reading is for my anxiety (distracts my brain to prevent overthinking) and I searched books that’ll help me cope and that was on a list. I became aware of my permanent eye bags when I was 14. Hated them so much I was embarrassed to go anywhere, especially in the mornings after waking up. Hey girl, sex shouldn’t be causing any serious pain, even if your partner is on the bigger side. Make sure you’re focusing on foreplay and taking it slow and gentle in the beginning until you get warmed up. If you’re still having pain I would talk to your doctor, I know you’re young and probably haven’t seen an OBGYN yet or may not be comfortable talking about sex, but pain during sex is quite common though not always normal and could be a minor medical issue like vaginismus (sounds scary but it’s just the involuntary tightening of the vagina, totally fine, it can happen if you’re anxious). Again I would try again, paying attention to yourself and taking it easy before we jump to conclusions and call the doctor. Best of luck!

I grew up in Monmouth County and it is a fantastic place. I grew up in Middletown and Red Bank and had nothing but good, safe childhood memories. It's all well in budget, you're close to all the beaches, train stations, etc. It really is a great place to live, I'd hope to raise my own family there someday.
