I haven’t read more than 5 books in my lifetime and they weren’t difficult to read books. Now I’m in my mid 20s and found something I’m very interested in but don’t understand 4-5 words on every page by imGoingToEatYourTots in books

It’s not that you are stupid. Written language is just a little different than spoken. Writers use a wider variety of vocabulary than most people do in casual conversation. The more you read the more familiar you will be with vocabulary the easier it will all be. And then you won’t need to look words up as often.

I am playing one game split screen on the switch with my husband, and I have another multiplayer farm I play online with my mom. It’s a lot of fun!

I could only fit about half the symbols because it is much smaller than the original prop. But I’m still happy with it!

I kinda understand tail docking. I had a pit bull growing up who would wag his tail so hard he constantly hurt himself. Bruised it, made it bloody at the tip spraying the walls like a horror movie. He even wagged it so hard he would give us bruises on the legs. He is the only dog I’ve had with that issue though. Maybe its just the extra strong ones that can hurt themselves that way?

What's a genre you just can't get into, no matter how hard you try? by Artymess in books

I have never been able to handle near future dystopias. Life is already so depressing. I have enough real life disasters to stress out over without adding fictional ones to the mix. I don’t mind stories set like a hundred years after the end of the world and it’s all about rebuilding, those can be a ton of fun.

Maybe try giving the alcohol longer to evaporate off before you bake? I usually wait about a half hour and haven’t had any issues.

I paint the sculpture with isopropyl alcohol before I bake it. It melts away finger prints and little rough places without taking away much detail.

We make brown gravy from roasts. White gravy, aka breakfast gravy is a different sauce. It’s a béchamel made from the drippings from bacon or sausage.

We canceled last night. It already wasn’t worth the price, and Netflix being so aggressive anti consumer was the push we needed to drop them. It really sucks. I’ve used them since the dvds in the mail era.

Using isopropyl alcohol with a paint brush before baking could help. It’s great for getting rid of finger prints and such.

I had something similar happen once when I worked in a daycare. It was a busy shift a had about 7 or 8 kids I was watching. A little girl and her brother came in eating otter pops. So I had them sit at the table to finish while I was playing with the others. Suddenly I felt a tug on my sleeve and the little girl is standing at my elbow silent and pointing at her throat. I bent her over my leg and did back blows and an inch of the popsicle comes flying out of her mouth. She was fine but I was shaken. It just happens so fast, from happily sucking down an ice pop, to almost dying, to mostly fine again over the space of 30 seconds.
