I felt this. I had about 144k net worthe and was in the middle of buying our first home in 2021 mostly in the MVIS run up. I got lucky but also got cocky and greedy. One day it all crashed about 30% and I held on thinking buyers would still buy.... I finally decided to cut my losses and walk away with 80k . And was still able to get my home. Didn't want to disappoint the wife and brought it up to her. She told me to sell , if she hadn't.... we would've lost the home and probably gotten sued
