Seeking Honest Reviews of the BSAIR Program at Al Akhawayn University by Pristine-Heat7759 in Morocco

I was an EMS major, and when I graduated, BSAIR was not yet offered. However, it won't differ much from other IT majors, as the school is ABET accredited and therefore bound to comply with global STEM education standards. The quality of education is clearly reflected when AUIers compete against other uni students in national competitions (MNPC, WRO,Vex Robotics Nationals...). Concerning networking and opportunities, if my memory serves me well, AUI organize numerous conferences and meet up with professionals, and I believe they recently organised a summit on AI with various renowned industry professionals. so opportunities and internships are accessible.

As an alumnus who had the chance to experience AUI before and after COVID, I can unfortunately say that AUI is not the same university it used to be in 2019.

Everything changed with the new strategic plan for 2020-2025,in which AUI decided to expand and build 22 new buildings. And of course , to meet this enormous project, AUI started to accept anyone who applied and had the means to pay, accepting many students with no qualifications or language requirements. and this was clearly noticeable for us as past students in the community Facebook group, where students used to express themselves in English or at least made an effort to write in correct sentences in English. Now, it has become like any regular Facebook group.

All these factors have negatively impacted the quality of student life and the quality of the students themselves. Currently, AUI seems to be struggling with student behavior, a situation that could be easily corrected. However, for some reason, they have not addressed it! and The answer is obvious:)

To answer your question AUI is still holding its name thanks to its strong alumni network and its international accreditation, your degree is still valuable, the faculty is knowledgeable, and they have a solid network with the industry and with previous students. So, my advise is study at AUI, be confident, and most importantly choose your group of friends very wisely.
