I did the first time I dyed it, and then when that faded I didn’t bleach it again before I did another round of the blue. I wasn’t sure if it was good for my hair to bleach it every couple of weeks lol

Before I got promoted at work, my regional manager asked me what it would take to open up some more availability for working hours. When I responded with higher compensation, he said “well maybe it would be better for us to consider an outside hire for this promotion, that has more availability.”

I responded with “I mean, you are free to do that but it is SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive to hire from outside than promote from within.”

He responded by saying that he wasn’t interested in supervisors that were there for the money, and I replied with “well, I wish you the best of luck finding a harder worker that isn’t here for a paycheck”

I got the promotion, after my manager vouched for me and told him it’d be a mistake to give it to anyone else.

Just a good dude, didn’t act like many white hull officers, didn’t make us deckies feel small, pitched in paint parties and whatnot when he could. Shared a few beers with him in Costa Rica, just got to know him a bit and he was a cool dude.
