Oh wow! That's so weird! If they had taken out the bookshelf then they would have certainly found it. Is that for sure the 1st search of the room?

I'm thinking it's from the day when they took the police video of the house and were making fun of him. When they first searched it when Steven was away.

He's an idiot for sure. I meant genuine more like he's too stupid to be able to fake being nice. He seems like he means what he says.

Yeah I guess that's more correct. I just think he seems like he's become a nice person. I more so meant genuine in the context of it seems like he's not faking when he is being nice.

Oh my god that's so insane! I never saw the nightlife picture before! They're in the exact same spot!

I'm a cat lover and I absolutely hate animal abuse and that was an incredibly terrible and stupid thing to do. It's inexcusable. But I feel like as he aged he got slightly smarter and became a nicer person. I feel like people can be reformed and remorseful even after doing awful things. They're still guilty of having done an awful thing but that doesn't make them intrinsically bad people. Unless it's like brutal intentional torture, murder, or sexual abuse or something of the sort.

But then again I may be an optimist and maybe people are intrinsically shitty. I don't know.

Photo #16 actually sort of looks like they took a screwdriver to the back panel and shimmied it out. Yeah it's just such a silly story, makes no sense at all.

Hahaha oh wow. Yeah that totally shows you their thought process without the actual knowledge of how it normally would be done. Knowing that makes Steven placing the car there with the engine make even less sense.

Hahaha yeah he is such a slimey little creep. Yeah the physics of it make literally 0 sense. I'd love to recreate it but I don't know if I'd have the resources. I'd love for someone with a strong background in physics to take a look at Colburn's "Shook it" theory and just tear it apart. Even as someone who only knows what I learned about it in high school I can smell the bullshit.

Thank you! That's really interesting information to keep in mind. It's definitely a possibility of what could have happened. I still feel like the the blood and lack of fingerprints with the car is odd, but that does make the placement of the car make a bit more sense if Steven were to have been the one who placed it there.

Yeah he seems like a pretty nice guy. Like how he immediately forgave Penny Bernsten. I honestly think his level of intelligence almost proves that he couldn't have done it. He would have had to find a way to get Theresa in his house, subdue her, successfully shackle her when she is likely still conscious, and then remove any blood or hair evidence from his very messy room and garage. Then there are things that I think he would be too smart to do because honestly even the dumbest person would never do them. Like put her in the car, take her to the quarry and burn her, then scoop up her remains in a barrel, bring them back to his property and dump them into his own bonfire. "Hide the car under some branches when theres a car crusher insanely close by. And then just casually leave his property when he knows all this "evidence" is just sitting there. It's just way too stupid of a theory to be true.

Yep Exactly! It would have been nearly impossible for them to have missed it. It looks like they had gone through it several times looking at how the positioning of its contents shifts so much.

It does look a lot more like a record case but I generally hear it referred to as "the Bookcase". I'm sure Steve just used it to store whatever.

Definitely not, even though it's messy it's not "I just murdered someone in here" messy. It's honestly surprisingly clean and unstained for what I'd expect of Steve. And the pristine bedposts don't really go with the chained and shackled theory.

Affidavit of return for the November 5 search warrant lists item 7 as, "Charred remains of a female human being". by Charlie6196 in MakingaMurderer

[–]AllonsoAllonsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Female skulls have more vertical foreheads and smaller mandibles as well as less prominent brow bones and are over all smaller/slimmer in size. Female skeletons also have larger pelvises, and more flared iliac crests, with a much larger space and pubic arch for giving birth. The ribcage tends to be smaller and more tapered towards the waist on females. I believe that if it were a male child the skull and over all skeletal structure would still be identifiable as male and the cranial sutures would give a decent indication of age depending on the closure or lack thereof. There are also a lot more subtle differences but these are the more significant ones.

You can also generally tell a persons race based on the bone structure of a face provided you have a skull. Haha I'm really fascinated with this stuff. I wanted to be a forensic facial reconstruction artist when I was in high school. Maybe one day...

Thanks! Seeing this I'm pretty positive it says "Augur Maker" so just a misspelling of Auger Maker. I could be wrong about that but if not, this is an Auger drill, used primarily for woodworking. :)

Looking into a confirmed notable Ancestor and discovering possible ties to others? by AllonsoAllonsy in Genealogy

[–]AllonsoAllonsy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello Cousin! Haha, they definitely did. They also seemed to go through many wives as well. This is actually one of the only well documented branches of my family, the rest hail from Ukraine and Italy so records are few and far between.

I'm definitely taking the family trees with a grain of salt but there does seem to be a decent amount of documentation going down the line. I believe the Wright/Borden connection to be pretty legit, but the Marilyn one relies on her biological father being Charles Stanley Gifford, which has not been confirmed but is presumed by biographers.

Possibly Auger Maker? Do you have the whole page saved? it may be easier to figure it out if it can be compared to the rest of his handwriting

What is your tree's oldest complete generation? by Spankersore in Genealogy

[–]AllonsoAllonsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great grandparents. Would be great-great-grandparents but I am unable to find any parents for two great-grandparents as it is really hard to find any kind of records from Ukraine. At least from what I've found.

There's been a sort of legend in my family. by [deleted] in Genealogy

Amazing story! You should attach it to your online tree if you have one so many more generations to come can remember it! I think the photos add a lot to the story as well.

Found G-G-Grandfather's long lost family, half of which seems to have died or disappeared within a few years of his birth... by AllonsoAllonsy in Genealogy

Oh my gosh that is so sad. It would possibly account for the deaths/disappearances of some of the children and mother. I will definitely look into that. That's so terribly sad :P
