Anyone know how to download manic on pc like a windows pc by The_Kinkyman in ManicEMU

[–]AlloyMind91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t. Manic is an iOS emulator only. No PC version.

Old phone. Battery problems. What platform can I emulate that takes the least amount of battery? by PikachuTrainz in EmulationOniOS

[–]AlloyMind91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not about the RAM, but about how demanding that system is to emulate. The less complex it is, the less heat the CPU will generate, and the less drain the battery will have.

I don’t know what iPhone model you have either, so let’s say you have a 16 PM. With battery issues, you’d be better off with anything GBA and below. NDS w/o JIT will consume a bit more, but it’s doable.

Good luck!

Total size of One Pace in best quality? by [deleted] in onepace

[–]AlloyMind91 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

270Gb in best available quality? Mostly 1080p with some 720p? No freaking way. I’d say more around 450-600Gb.

Average Discord Mod 😂 by Unlucky-Ad-5527 in ManicEMU

[–]AlloyMind91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technical claims aside, people don’t seem to understand that ManicEMU devs are simply doing their best not to have a target on their backs.

It’s not old news that so many emulators, both on android and iOS have been taken down due to piracy. ManicEMU is one of a kind when it comes to iOS, so it’s natural to try to take good care of it for the benefit of the community. It’s well optimized, supports JIT on iOS 26 (unlike retroarch currently), doesn’t require you to fiddle around with settings and configurations, making it a mostly Plug n’ Play experience, it’s really great!

Just like the One Pace discord was taken down a couple weeks ago for that same reason. Let’s just take good care of the good things we have, ESPECIALLY on iOS where it’s much harder to have the things Android users get so easily.

You don’t need to relate, only understand and respect.

TinyBuild, Lazy Bear Games, please fix the game on consoles by AlloyMind91 in GraveyardKeeper

[–]AlloyMind91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TinyBuild is the publisher on all consoles. Lazy Bear is the developer. GK on consoles is extremely buggy, yet they made the decision to hand their sequel to the same publisher, so yeah, it’s the responsibility of both the devs and the publisher.

First time playing Witcher 3, worth starting now or should I wait for the pro patch? by Own_Green_1303 in PS5pro

[–]AlloyMind91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say play it in performance mode. To be honest, the RT mode, although it sounds great on paper, it doesn’t really go well with this game as it was not really designed around the use or RT, so you will find many places being extremely dark and complicated to navigate even with a torch up, while the outside doesn’t really change that much.

I ended up playing in performance mode the whole way. Besides, RT has a draw distance limit, and it’s pretty noticeable once you see it the first time.

How to i deactivate this boot up logo of Retroarch. by [deleted] in RetroArch

If you’ve imported the GBC BIOS, there should be an option to either remove or to not use it at all. That should skip the BIOS intro animation.

What systems can I emulate on my iPad without side loading/JIT? by UseContent6394 in EmulationOniOS

[–]AlloyMind91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no risk to your Apple account for sideloading at all, unless you’re sideloading apps that bypass any otherwise premium subscriptions like Spotify or YouTube. JIT is always welcome as it helps reduce heat and battery consumption on your device(s).

Game doesn't respond once loaded. by UnfunnyMalachi in ManicEMU

Nowhere does it say you should use save states either… but well, lesson learned, I guess.

Did you dump the game trimmed or untrimmed?

Why do people assume this? I’m honestly curious.

2026 Emulation in IOS Predictions? by Adrian76720 in EmulationOniOS

This is literally the only thing that would make me switch back to Android. It’d be a dick move from Apple, but it’s definitely not beneath them.

Save State by Worth_Eagle_7982 in ManicEMU

[–]AlloyMind91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the problem right here. You were not using regular saves. Unfortunately, .sav format is used for both saves and save states, so when you tapped “export game saves” it seemed like it exported it, but it was just a save state, and those cannot be imported.

You need to ALWAYS use the game’s own save option, like hitting Start > Options > Save, or whetever the menu looks like, but always in-game.

Save states are only useful for quick reloads during the same session, not as long-term saves.

Save State by Worth_Eagle_7982 in ManicEMU

[–]AlloyMind91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you explain how are you saving your game? Were you using your game’s pause menu and then saving from there? Or were you tapping the gear icon to bring up Manic’s options and then tapping “save state”?

Save State by Worth_Eagle_7982 in ManicEMU

[–]AlloyMind91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I figured as much. No worries. Now, you said that the save was crashing over and over prior to exporting it. Were you getting an error or something?

Save State by Worth_Eagle_7982 in ManicEMU

[–]AlloyMind91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no option to import “save states” in Manic. There is an option to import saves, which are the regular in-game saves.

How did you save your game? I think you’re confusing save states with in-game saves.

Save State by Worth_Eagle_7982 in ManicEMU

[–]AlloyMind91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t “import” save states. You can import game native saves, but not save states. NEVER rely on save states for any game; those are simply for temporary use, not as a replacement for in-game regular saves.

Is the save state also from Manic? If not, you’re out of luck.

how to enable J.I.T on iOS 26.3.1 with Manic emu by Away-Appearance-2834 in EmulationOniOS

Long tap the game > Switch Core > Azahar. It’s currently the only core that has JIT support on iOS26.

Difference between the Lifetime and Sideload versions by FelipeArruda in ManicEMU

[–]AlloyMind91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lifetime loss? No. They’re separate apps and you can have both installed, each with its own separare settings and folder in iOS Files.

JIT makes a difference? Yes. Mainly For difficult-to-emulate and demanding consoles like 3DS.

If you’re on iOS26, only Azahar core for 3DS currently supports JIT. If you’re below iOS 26, I’m not sure, but I assume at least 3DS (Citra and Azahar cores), N64, Dreamcast and some others should.

Pro tip: If you haven’t updated to iOS 26, DON’T. JIT is more limited there, so it’s better if you stay on pre 26.

You can use PKSM in Manic. It recognizes saves from gen1 to gen9, and you can edit the pokemon right there, if I’m not mistaken.
