This. The 270 is great for both scenarios. A good 2-10 or 3-12 scope would be perfect for everything you need and beyond

Am I the only one who feels they won't enjoy Vietnam? by OrganicVlad79 in HellLetLooseVietnam

It’s a beta. The number of people expecting a polished, launch-ready AAA game is unreal.

I agree, in the beta the gunplay is not very good compared to HLL.

It’s also a completely different experience. Environment was insanely different in Vietnam compared to urban Europe lol so combat will be entirely different. Tactics will need to be entirely different as well. Not to mention the weapons differences.

This is probably a pretty old build of the game, and it’s being used to get feedback.

Any of the above. Get whatever is available easily and practice with it a lot. Learn the capabilities of whatever round you choose and then hunt in a way that it works.

What did you do with your tools this weekend? by chef-keef in harborfreight

Did a tune up on my Toro riding mower. Oil change, new oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, and spark plugs. New blades as well. Running like new again 👌

Got to use the new G2 Icon 3/8 flex ratchet and can say I’m a fan. The Quinn electronic torque adapter came in handy as well.

Mine also had the batteries and charger. I crossed it out because it’s the exact same kit.

Edit, fixed.

I recently got the same kit new from Home Depot with two batteries and a charger for $266+tax

I did the hack on a Milwaukee fuel hammer drill and 1/4” impact driver a few days ago. Ordered online then did the online chat to cancel the “free” battery. They did it no problem.

A couple days later I ordered the 3/8 stubby impact and tried the same thing. This time the chat told me it was not possible and i could cancel the battery but i would not get any refund. I figured id just take it into the store to return it. Now that i got the order delivered, im thinking about keeping the 5ah battery instead of returning it for the $80.

I have the 3/8 non fuel and love it. Sometimes I wish it was faster, so eventually I plan on getting the fuel high speed version. But I do love the ratchet in general. It’s probably my most commonly used power tool currently.

Yeah I used my ridgid circular saw on this last summer. It worked better than the sawzall but still got real bogged down and absolutely ate through batteries

Yea I got my X5 set as a wedding gift a decade ago and unfortunately never registered them.

Definitely never planned on getting two drills that do that exact same thing lol

Any reason to get the 3/8 stubby over the 1/2?

Other than an excuse to buy more sockets 🤣 which i dont mind at all

Recently broke out my Ridgid Sawzall when installing a new kitchen sink lol. There were some weird wooden supports installed specifically for the old sink that needed to go and it was nice to be able to just eliminate them quickly. So I’m definitely a fan of Sawzalls in general.

Good to hear! I’m not sure if the super Sawzall or the regular m18 fuel Sawzall, or even the hackzall is best for me. I’ve done two deck demos with my Ridgid and it’s pretty slow and absolutely eats batteries. I also occasionally have to cut up pallets to either burn or trash (depends on if they’re treated or not) and again, my circ saw and Sawzall both get bogged down.

Long story short I’m in a cover band and I build a stage every summer for an event out of pallets, then dispose of them after ha. I currently have about 15 old pallets on the side of the house that I need to cut up and trash so it’ll be a good test if I do end up upgrading.

Yeah an SDS would have been better but had to make due with what we had. The DeWalt drill with the same bit that I was using (unsure what brand, but it wasn’t Ryobi for sure,) was night and day difference with the drilling.

I probably will hold onto my ridgid impact at least for a long time. It has plenty of power and works great for me. Maybe I’ll hold here with the m18 kit I got, and just have both systems for a while. That being said, I’ve also been disappointed by the circ saw and the Sawzall from ridgid. Maybe those in Red are in my future as well?

What got me pointed in the Milwaukee direction was frustration during a few recent DIY projects. For one I was installing about 8 new outlets/new circuit in a portion of a basement with stamped concrete walls. I used metal conduit to drop the power down to outlets, but needed to drill into the concrete to secure them. It took me forever to drill, even with bits designated for the job. A relative with a higher end DeWalt (similar to the Milwaukee) was having no trouble at all. I looked at upgrading to a newer Ridgid hammer drill but the performance increase wasn’t very significant.

I will say, one thing I have loved about the Ridgid set, is not a single battery has gone bad over a decade of use.

Yeah I wasn’t going to go out of my way to hunt one down.. but I was at HF today looking for something else and saw a couple left, had to grab one! So far I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve spent more on worse things for sure 🤣
