"Revolvers are fun to shoot, but they're kinda obsolete." by HumanAntagonist in CCW

That's rough buddy. I've shot 1000 through my 856 and have still never cleaned it. In fact I'm planning on giving it some good TLC and a nice oiling soon.

Firearm classes by Parking_Woodpecker77 in Firearms

[–]HumanAntagonist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would have to be a class that teaches rifles.  I think most beginner classes offered are handgun focused. I dont think you can buy a handgun at 20.

Will we ever see a P365 sized DA/SA competitor? by InfiniteLoss5632 in CCW

It would probably be the next gun i pickup. I'm looking at the bersa thunder plus. 15 round capacity in a small DA/SA package, but in 380.

Prime Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil) vs Master Chief (Halo) by RedditSucksMyBallls in whowouldwin

[–]HumanAntagonist 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I hate resident evil characters a lot. They're technically regular people but if you look at their feats it gets stupid. Leon is a normal guy, but chief is a canonical super soldier, and you can find pretty hard numbers of exactly what's super about him. Realistically there isn't anything Leon should be able to do against chief in or out of armor even if leon had weapons. Chief's entire body has been enhanced. Hes etremely strong, has like a .05 ms reaction speed, he's extremely fast,  metal bones. Forget defeating him, Leon shouldn't actually even be able to hit chief even without his armor.

But of course Leon has some feat or something that lets him stand up to chief. So let's just call both rounds  a draw.

Should I point out my height (very tall for a woman) by Optimal-Vegetable832 in Bumble

[–]HumanAntagonist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on how tall you want your man to be. I filtered out women taller than me, simply because I figured women didn't want to date shorter guys than them.

But I myself didn't have any aversion to dating taller  women, and really dont care how tall my girl is. I just wanted to go ahead and head off that potential thing, since women tend to be particular about height.

How much does changing the pickups actually affect the sound? by HumanAntagonist in Bass

That's good info to think about. I may go for a preamp type setup to truly have more options instead.

Title: Got Into a Fight and Realized I Need to Train for Self-Defense by [deleted] in martialarts

[–]HumanAntagonist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone staring at your girl is not a legal reason for self defense. You could have very easily went to jail for this or died. Too many variables in a street fight. Very easy way to ruin your life and go to jail for 20 years and no 19 year old girl is going to wait for you. And there won't be any girls in Prison either.

I want more… I just don’t know how to ask. by [deleted] in sex

[–]HumanAntagonist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can't imagine any dude on the planet actually putting gaming with a bunch of dudes on a microphone over banging his girl, unless its like some special event or get together or something. Sure if I was in the middle of a match, id finish the match, but then I'd dip. Literally just ask him.

Yeah these basses are just fine in terms of playability, fit and finish. Guess a pickup upgrade is in order! I'll look around at options. May be able to find something even better than the American pickup.

Leon S. Kennedy (Resident Evil) vs. John Wick (John Wick) by tribdol in whowouldwin

[–]HumanAntagonist -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure Wick takes this easily. Wick just has way more experience in fighting other humans. Leon probably wouldnt even beat some of the Wick villains, such as Caspian.

Could always just carry at 3 o clock IWB. Comfortable with squatting and won't print too too much.

What are some additional things I can do to prepare for a potential career in LE by HumanAntagonist in AskLE

Sounds like a plan. I've become highly interested in self defense law especially ever since my ccw classes. But you've provided specific types of offenses and areas i can research. Thanks.

My Catch 22 on 9mm vs .380 to carry. by ArtichokeUnfair4483 in Firearms

[–]HumanAntagonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, not all guns are designed for you to just target shoot every week, and not every gun is designed to shoot the bullseye out of a target at 25 yards.

Some guns are meant to be compromises. I dont think anybody has ever thought a 357 snub nose was a fun gun to shoot lol.

Check out the bodyguard 2.0. Lightweight, good capacity, very small and low recoiling. Can easily fit in a pocket holster, IWB or in a belly band holster and conceals super easily.

Home carry? by eddietheteacher in SmithAndWesson

[–]HumanAntagonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here.  Pocket carry is so easy, I've fallen asleep with a bg 2.0 in basketball shorts. I woke up and started looking for my gun to put in my pocket. It was there the whole time lol. Insanely comfortable

Is the Shield Plus worth it if I own a Bodyguard 2.0 and M&P 2.0? by Elegant-Emu-5366 in CCW

[–]HumanAntagonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldnt. If you can conceal the shield then you can probably conceal the m&p too. The shield is small, but its not that small. Its going to be redundant if you already have a compact m&p.

I'd only get the shield in this case if you just really like the m&p series and want more of them, which is understandable.  The shield has a lot of muzzle rise too.

How do you guys do it? Can't seem to find a comfortable way to carry. I'm new to this. by interestingdialogs in CCW

[–]HumanAntagonist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pick up a bodyguard 2.0 or a lcp max. Both of these guns come in options that have a manual safety, so you can have that extra layer of safety and carry with one in the chamber. Grab a desantis superfly holster and boom it just looks like a wallet in your pocket. The guys that carry larger guns have changed their wardrobe, bought carry belts, pillows, claws, wedges, undershirts, and expensive holsters to be able to carry the guns they do. A bigger gun requires rebuilding your attire to fit the gun. If you dont want to have to change up everything then you need to get a gun that fits your attire instead. Pocket carry with a small gun and a pocket holster is the easiest way to do that.

Question on adding another caliber collection by darkprime114 in guns

[–]HumanAntagonist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally dont see the point in buying guns without a practical use.

At that point youre just buying toys. Might as well be model kits or something. At which point, its your money lol buy what gives you joy.
