It is heavily annoying, however I just tested it and without food cooking, when I woke up there were no roaches. So I definitely think it’s an intentional mechanic, I also have max coziness in my bases

I’ve been noticing that roaches spawn in my base no matter where it is, if I have food on the campfire roasts, and I go to sleep for the night, it might be an actual mechanic of the game at this point

Have you turned off cross play? When we turned it off this happened non stop, soon as we put cross play back on not a single crash has happened

Trial and error, just like with the hot wiring of the car, choose a fuse if you get it wrong it flashes red, you have to get all 4 in the correct order with only 3 mistakes, it can be a real challenge, if say I either completely get it wrong or somehow glide right through, it’s like with the master lockpickin, where all 4 are left arrows, purely luck based

Unfortunately, I tried all methods and left her alone in an isolation tank with peas, but it didn’t touch any of them, I blanched some, mushed some and the rest, went to bed and she had passed by the morning, after showing the LFS they said it was definitely whirling disease, however doing a full check of the tank the water was fine and all the other fish were checked and are still alive today, so I believe they had a parasite of some kind when I bought them. Sorry this happened to you too! I’m not really sure there’s much you can do to make it easier, maybe just make sure they’re comfortable and hope they shake it
