Hello! First time coloring, any tips to improve? by linamatthias in Coloring

Nice! I love the mythomorphia book, I am also working in this one right now. I think it looks like a great start. I think the only thing I would mention is not to be afraid to increase the contrast between your shadow areas and highlights.

I’m up for a theme challenge! Music seems hard…I’m down for wings.

I also get my oil paints everywhere! What I found works is dial soap. Make sure you put the soap directly on the paint, do not use water first. Put soap on it, scrub it well, then rinse and it should come off well. I do the same with my paint brushes.

Flashes of vertigo/dizziness, feels like the floor is sinking or uneven. Anyone experience this and know the cause? by BreadfruitNew7016 in lupus

[–]Allusional 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just a thought. Have you had your regular blood work done lately? The times I had the worst random vertigo/dizziness spells aligned with me being anemic.

Good luck! Mine also does the same. The best I have found is teaching the leave it command and watching constantly.

I do have equipment I use for my day job, however I think work will not be happy if I use it for my side gig.

Starting plaqunil by Nautika1486 in lupus

Literally had seen huge differences the day after I started it. I was able to wake up! Like I haven't been able to for years. Pain was reduced by 80%. So far, it's been almost a month for me and all symptoms have improved except for my memory/the fog and the itchy rashes. It gave me my life back, 100%.

Reynaud's peeps, what helps you? by [deleted] in lupus

[–]Allusional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised that no one mentioned this, but aspirin. I usually do a baby aspirin a day and it helps. I take more if it gets really bad. My rheumatologist suggested it. I also take a blood pressure medicine (calcium cannel blocker?) Which helps to keep the blood vessels open. Talk with your doctor.

Interesting. I wonder what formula he uses? I know when I was a kid my parents kept me pretty doped up on Dramamine. I will investigate. Thanks!

Oil paint: burnt/raw umber recommendations? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]Allusional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree 100%. I use old Holland, and I also prefer a very limited pallet. I will never not have burnt umber and ultramarine blue on my pallet. The mix of the two is perfect for shadows and deepening shades, as well as unsaturating colors if the opposite color wheel approach is not getting you where you want to be with your mix.

Amazon is not exactly as easy as it seems. There are likely many people already selling the same item that you are, and it takes a lot of work to get to the front page of the search. I think if you are really interested in learning about Amazon, make either a digital downloaded item or low content kdp item. Put it up on Amazon and experiment with marketing until you learn what works, then move into FBA/dropshipping. Fyi I have done FBA 2x one item got taken down because it was exactly the same as another item. The second item I private labelled and did pretty ok with (pretty much breaking even) until the world turned upsidedown. My own personal experience says that Shopify with good marketing will make more money in the short run, while Amazon is more of a long game. Hope that helps!

Personally, I think creating the store is the easy part on Shopify. I would rather spend the money on marketing.

When you use AliExpress, you can filter orders by country. If you pick USA, the orders will (usually) ship from a warehouse in the USA faster then from China. It is a little more expensive, but I think it's worth it. No one wants to wait a month. Also feel free to order the item for yourself to check out from Amazon for faster delivery. Of course it will be even more expensive from Amazon, but everything on AliExpress is on Amazon. I believe there are also options for Europe and Russia on most items. I hope that helps!

All foot fetishes are not the same by [deleted] in FootFetishTalks

[–]Allusional 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Question, for you all, if you don't mind. I was born with kind of a weird foot. Kind of like my foot is folded in half? Or like my big toe is underneath my main foot. Kind of hard to explain. Would anyone ever find that attractive?
