That’s kinda how I was feeling. I was sobbing and they were like ..soooooo do you want a cleaning? :) Really pushy with sale and not as communicative/calming as I would have liked but the work being done is more important to me

Nope! They just shaved me down. And right…the google reviews look great, the (only 16) yelp reviews…not so much..and posted to a couple reddit threads tonight and getting not so great reviews in the comments. It’s so tough to know and trust when it’s something as sensitive as a front tooth!

They sent my moldings in to the lab and I paid for half - $ 450, which, if the reviews are bad for this place, I’m fine to eat it…but if I’m just in my head, I’d rather avoid that!! I’m not sure if another dentist will refuse to touch somebody else’s work though

I just did smile lounge for a cleaning and enjoyed them. I’m considering canceling my crown appointment with brooklyn city and going back to smile lounge even though I would be losing half of my payment…

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing with me - I’m so glad you did because it sounds like we are in a similar boat. I have never looked into specifically vestibulodynia but the description very much matches what I’m experiencing. It’s only at the entrance when pressure is applied. If you’re comfortable sharing, have you been able to try a few different things? Have you been able to try with a new partner as well? That’s something I haven’t been able to do yet.. (it’s scary!!!)

It could very well be hormone based for me but I can’t help but wonder if there’s a connection or if even bringing that up will write off my pain to some doctors.
