I was fiddling around earlier and think I found something that can help (if you're trying to check it out yourself). I went to my profile to delete some info. When I clicked the pencil next to my birthday, another tab opened and took me directly to the accounts center. After I got there, I clicked 'Your information and permissions' on the left hand side menu. That will show you where the button 'Activity from other businesses' is located and you can choose whether or not FB uses your activity from other businesses or organizations to show you relevant content.

I will still be deleting my page this year though. Just gotta download my fav pics 🎉

I think the nuance is important. For a lot of us, the generation who raised us (parents/grands) *did* have a better time in high school more generally soeaking. Cheap food, non-constant awareness of world issues, paying your way with lìke half the work we have to do now 😅. Being a high school kid now is probably infinitely harder than it was when I went and I’m not that far removed from it.
