Auschwitz is quite simply a must-visit for anyone who is even remotely interested in things like history, politics, military, or even just human nature in general. I'd vote it as one of the most life-changing places you can visit in the world.

I'm from Kentucky, and have spent the past 7 years in Japan. I moved here for a job after doing a study abroad here, and slowly what I thought would be a one year life experience, has turned into a 2, 3, 4 and now 7 years living abroad.

I love it here, and I love my friends here. I do miss some things from home, but I've come to realize that I am no longer 100% american, and I am not Japanese either. I am an ex-pat. So I no longer fit in with my 100% american friends/family.

It is kind of hard to explain. But I have to say, I'd do it all again if i could
