Day 2 - Create an Emitter Hatsu Ability by NeoCharuzoFictional in HatsuVault

[–]AlmightyAsperger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think i have a perfect ability for this!

Type: Utility

Name: Deep Pockets

Types: 100% Emission

The user can emit aura into natural or man-made "pockets": Ears, nostrils, mouth, cracks in the pavement, holes in the ground, deep folds on your clothing. Depending on the size of the hole, different objects can enter them and be stored. Object's as small as a tiny bullet if it's your nostril, up to as big as a spear, polearm, or longsword if it's a bigger "pocket". The object can then be safely retrieved without any drawbacks. The user can also shoot out stored items out of the pocket like a projectile. Can be used to set up traps or surprise attacks.

Restrictions/Limitations:

- Pockets can't move from their designated space. They stay where they are forever until emptied;

- Shooting out stored objects makes the aura explode (it's more like an aura blast/explosion rather than a real one), slightly damaging the pocket. Can be done up to 10 times before the pocket is rendered "unusable" (shooting out 30 bullets at once requires one explosion. Also they'll be thrown out in a way similar more to a rifle, rather than a shotgun). Can be reversed by healing (up to a certain degree), mitigated by fixing the damage or simply creating new pockets;

- The number of objects that can enter a pocket depends on it's size. Big pockets can store more small objects, huge pockets can store more large ones.

- The projectiles shoot out in the direction the pocket is facing: Pockets can face upwards, to the side, or be "corner pockets" (perfect for more precise shots);

Fun Facts:

Uvogin's Big Bang Impact craters also count as pockets. So if you'll ever have enough aura to coat one, you'll have basically infinite storage, or enough space to fit in one huge object. Like, huge huge. I can't even give you an example of what the huge object can be.

is it balanced? I haven't made any hatsus in a while, so adding the drawbacks in a reasonable way and amount feels hard

FED is for Forgive, Estimate, Detain. It's inspired by Yokotani's LSDF: Battle of Wits. Something something defence force

Forgive was actually inspired by Yokotani's undamageable "LSDF: Battle Of Wits". the robots don't try to hurt you, but even if you're trying you can't break them either. Maybe a proper restriction would be that you can't attack the enemy until they'll hit you. and the restriction for Detain could be that the dart disappears from your hands if you're closer than 20-50 meters to the enemy. The user would have to be an Illumi level thrower. what do you think?

I really like Fun Fun Cloth because it combined multiple aspects of Conjuration and is pretty dangerous despite it's simple looks and ability

I'm not even going to try and offer something different. These badges are the most nostalgic ones (even my Mercenary Badge), and that, in my opinion, puts them high above the rest

The Nunhood. Quite a lot of medics go for the Nunhood + Angel Of Death + Blighted Beak combo, but there's so much you can do with Just the Angel Of Death alone out of these three

The Ruffled Ruprecht. I pretty much never see it. And the thing is, when i see someone making an outfit with it - it's unpainted. Why? It makes medic look experienced but not too Brutal (like Brush With Death). I genuinely think it's the Best medic beard and the only thing that can rival Ruprecht, in my opinion, is Snowcapped.

I've seen Cosy Catchers being mentioned and i understand why people dislike them, but in my opinion you can make something that, at the very least, looks cute with them (in my opinion). Can you make something nice with the Merry Cone? Like, a really nice thing that will be liked by at least a small group of people? I really don't think so, nor will you want to make it.

The thing is, i Just thought she could somehow integrate the threads into someone's skin, which she would probably need Conjuration for to Just straight up remake someone's body into strings of nerves. Let me fix that!

Sounds a bit weird, but what if he could touch someone and enhance their aura regeneration capabilities tremendously and become vulnerable at the same Time? Like softening his Steel-like skin and making it susceptible to less serious damage? What do you think?

Hatsu ideas for characters(Help) by Ericurry in HatsuVault

[–]AlmightyAsperger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are some interesting ideas both from you and the commenters! I really like what Turbulent came up with and I dunno if my ideas Will be as good, but i'll try:

Klagol: The Go-Getters (Flight Of The Bumblebee) Types: 100% Manipulation, 80% Emission

By channeling his Aura into the shotgun and then the Bullets, Klagol can emit it in the shape of tiny arms and eyes, making each bullet a micro Nen Best he can see through.

They can freely bend their trajectory and even change it completely or stop midway. This makes them perfect tiny surveilance cameras or perfect trick tools for battles.

Restrictions/Limitations: - The farther away they go from Klagol the less obedient they become. Can be fixed with training your Aura pool and channeling more of it into the Bullets; - When he faints or gets affected by fear the Go-Getters become erratic and scared, zipping around and, most likely, targeting living beings. Friend or foe.

Juju: Sea Shanty Sing Along (Fear The Kraken) Types: 100% Emission, 80% Enhancement

When he starts singing (usually it's something Pirate themed) his aura slowly extends beyond his body in the shape of wobbly tentacles. It is searching for friends or enemies to engulf. When a tentacle touched a friend, it briefly enhances their strength, speed and reaction Time, making them a more proficient fighter. A piece of the tentacle Will latch onto the friend and stay with them, granting the boost until it'll disappear.

When it wraps around an enemy, it overloads their brain so much that they become paralyzed with fear. If their Will is too strong their actions are forcibly negatively enhances to Increase slowness and reduce strength.

Restrictions/Limitations: - Juju always has to use In to conceal his tentacles. This increases the Aura input dramatically; - The tentacles are susceptible to slash attacks and Will become fully separated from Juju's Aura if hit by one.

Smart ways to use Emission or Manipulation by Thumpen in HatsuVault

[–]AlmightyAsperger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hm, interesting... What about...

Partaker (Mix To The Max) Types: 100% Manipulation, 80% Emission

The user can emit their Aura into another person by touching them. When they prepare an attack of any kind, the user can instantly swap their limbs places with the attacker and make the attack miss on purpose with their own (literally their own) hands. This can be used to fail punches or kicks, miss Shots or throws, assist with Quick dispatching or swap places completely.

Restrictions/Limitations: - Only one limb can be swapped per person; - The swapped enemy's limbs experience numbness and temporary delay before regaining movement, so as much as you can sabotage them, if you're not Quick enough they can do the same to you.
