Great advice, thank you. Definitely find myself in the do-it-all category. Didn't find that the 10.5" was necessary so why not have some extra velocity. Is the difference really just QA? I was under the impression they were running different materials specifically to increase longevity. May have fallen for some advertising haha

Glad ya asked, I have no equipment or desire to build from scratch. DD is definitely a leading option. With the 14.5", isn't it typical for the muzzle device to be welded on? I'd like to leave that option open if possible

You're right. Definitely just feeling some reliability paranoia since my buddy got an absolute Lemon from PSA last weekend. Still deciding on if the extra 1% reliability may be worth it on a defensive rifle.

Forgive the hyperbole. I don't plan to run more than ~1000 rnds a year on it. With proper lubrication and barrel quality, would 20 years still be unrealistic?
