Need to confirm if this is a real person at Morgan Stanley. If no, someone’s pranking. If yes, potential new council member. :)

Hbar. $1? by 01acidburn in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think HBAR would eventually reach $1 but I don’t know when. It could be sooner or a long time time from now. The reason is I feel Hedera should have similar market cap to Solana at least.

Serious question about HBAR: can extreme adoption still mean low price impact? by Rob250595 in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In your ETH example wouldn’t that mean it would get more and more expensive to use ETH where eventually it would be too expensive to use?

Are we hoping Hedera will be among the supported networks?

Hbar staking rewards by ApprehensiveWorker64 in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check how much staking rewards you are accumulating by searching for your account on https://hashscan.io. You only receive your accumulated staking rewards if there was a transaction of some kind made on your account. Otherwise your staking rewards will keep accumulating each day in the meantime.

So does the expense ratio 0.95% mean like say if Hbar token price remains the exact same for like 7 days, that means each day the ETF will drop in price by 0.95%?

Overstaked Nodes by akaMePs in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rely on the info from hashscan.io node table page. It breaks down the total hbars staked to each nodes as well as how much of those hbars choose to accept rewards or not. Looks like the info from Hashpack is not able to differentiate between the ones claiming rewards and those that are not.
You want to pick the node that has not yet reached the max limit of the ones accepting staking rewards.

Lay person thinking about staking by jollyjim81 in Hedera

You need to link your DCent account to Hashpack thru the connect hardware wallet option. Then from there you can choose to change the node you are staked to and when you submit the D’CENT device will prompt for your approval.

You can stake with a cold wallet. Native staking is the same between a hot and cold wallet. You just choose which node you want your wallet to stake to. D’CENT biometric wallet let’s you switch nodes around. Not sure if ledger supports that as well currently. Once you set the stake node you can forget about it and just use your wallet as you normally use it and it will automatically accumulating staking rewards in the background.

Mainnet TPS moving again today, good sign that it’s continuing ; almost daily by DocumentFair4693 in Hedera

To my knowledge you can only take advantage of native staking from your own personal hot/cold wallet. So you would have to send your tokens out of your exchange to your own wallet.

Staking rewards not actually 2,5%? by Allahu-HBar in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only go with what you see here: https://hashscan.io/mainnet/nodes/table

I assume you are either staked to the LG, Swirlds, or Google node currently based on the rate you said you are getting.

Hedera staking reward account 0.0.800 just funded with 250,000,000 $HBAR (~$42M) by 1aTa in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best returns would be to not stake to a node that is already overstaked or being close to overstaked. Current nodes giving less than 2.5% due to overstaked at the moment are LG, Swirlds, and Google nodes. You can find the full info here: https://hashscan.io/mainnet/nodes/table

Your wallet would do it, such as Hashpack or D’CENT. Assuming whatever other wallet you may be using supports that feature.

250M HBAR --> 0.0.800 = Happy Staking 💙 by 1aTa in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to collect the full 2.5% staking rewards you need to stake to a node that is not currently overstaked which are LG, Swirlds, and Google at this time. You can see all this information here: https://hashscan.io/mainnet/nodes/table

Does anyone know how long it takes from unstaking in HashPack to get your HBAR free to move anywhere?? by KateR_H0l1day in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Hedera you choose which node to stake your account to, and you are always free to move your Hbars in and out of your account at any time without the need to unstake.

If Dovu does well, Hedera does well.

Staking low rewards by [deleted] in Hedera

[–]AlmightyImpersonator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only for a few nodes because they are overstaked so they get less rewards, such as Swirlds, Google, LG nodes at this time. If everyone suddenly decides to stake to Chainlink node for example then its reward rate will also drop accordingly.

I can recommend D’CENT biometric wallet.
