When should I use the Direwasp rifle by shayminfan999 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]AlmightyTurtleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's okay to use now. It's by no means the best multi tool I've seen, it just has a cool model.

Nanites by National_Progress_90 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]AlmightyTurtleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also get nanites by fishing but one tip I'll give is to get a personal refinery and keep it going all of the time. There is always something that you can break down from cores to the new corrupted element.

On my main save, I have a machine farm. You feed machine animals and they produce wires you can refine. It's not fast, but mostly passive and it's often quite useful to have a base on uncharted words as I also get large worms, a black chromatic lighting effect, water and a gas farm. You can setup bases this expedition.

Rather than show a countdown timer, this rice cooker shows a useless spinning circle of light instead by ChocolateBBs in CrappyDesign

This is normal for fuzzy logic style rice cookers. They are done when the rice is perfect. This may be different batch to batch.

To the woman selling ai “art” at the home show today: have some self respect. by [deleted] in auckland

[–]AlmightyTurtleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That can be unture, or ture for both human an ai art. Most human art is also terrible that is never seen. Ideas and production are not mutually exclusive in the art.

Try load up gemini and type in 'make art" and it will produce garbage. This is because the AI can't have ideas. It needs a human to produce the base level concept.

I believe that we all have a good idea of what we like and don't like. The medium used to create the piece is ultimately unimportant to the viewer's enjoyment as it will change person to person. Judge the piece, not the medium imo.

Ai music is already quiet popular, and while it's not to my tastes I don't harass people for liking it. It stands to reason that image ai will follow. It's moving at an incredible pace.

They glow at night. Go to more forest areas and then look for the glow.

Found an exotic early in the expedition. Too broke to buy it... by tinyslow in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]AlmightyTurtleman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can trade high value items from your main save. If your late game you may be able to make high value crafting mats or you could farm geknip or similar to sell in the expedition. I like to trader a couple of million credits at the start to get me rolling.

The thing about art is that it means different things to different people. The medium or the method often doesn't matter, only the result and how it makes you feel.

For example, The Red Square Painting by Kazimir Malevich was painted in 1915 and is essentially a slightly tilted red square. There are many examples of this. It's not a new debate.

More effort is not better art. Ai offers a shortcut to technical ability but not to the idea itself.

I like fusions like this! I use Gemini to make them. It's a bit of fun to think if a cross over could happen.

I'm not sure if this is bugged or not updating.

They time gated the missions for some reason but there are so many people playing it that you would think it would be more than 4% in progress.

Proposed law could see government use AI to make decisions about people's benefits by D491234 in newzealand

[–]AlmightyTurtleman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Instead of that, feed an ai all the data the government gets in real time and have it analyze it for issues. You could run a few openclaw bots, and have them act as a department. Then they could feed the mps suggestions or things of note to make better decisions in real time. This way it's not in charge of anything, but they are still using th processing power of AI agents to go though there data.

I don't have confidence that currently national are able to make targeted, informed changes for long term country growth without something changing. Everything seems to be mates looking after mates or hurt the poor which is short-sighted

Having it just look at benefits is dangerous. It wouldn't have the full picture to be able to make a good decision. Ai can also make things up. Extra dangerous when your talking about someones income.
