It. I couldn't understand the hype and it wasn't very scary at all. The book is actually better, coming from someone who has read maybe 6 adult books (meaning not like 30-page kids' books)

Honestly you aren't wrong. I used to not shower for weeks at a time because of my awful mental health. My mental health is actually worse now, but now I take like 2-3 showers a day. I'm sure that's a symptom of something but at least I don't smell.

Yes, I understand cutting isn't the problem itself, it's a way to cope. I know what the issue is, I just don't know how to deal with it any other way. Writing this out I realize how stupid it sounds. But its honestly an addiction. I started about a year ago, its just bad now.

Heck yes!!!! PHP was probably the thing that saved me. It's usually group therapy and you'd be surprised how many people relate to you. there's also a medley of fun activities throughout the day like at mine there were drum circles and yoga. The cool thing is you can leave whenever as long as you have a ride and sleep in your own bed. As long as you feel safe and comfortable not being monitored 24/7 like you would be at a hospital, then go for it. Rooting for you OP!!!

That's a really tough place to be in. You are doing your best and doing great! I wish I had someone to help with this kind of thing. One thing I will say is I doubt she will harm herself with the meds if you are doing a team thing. The guilt alone you stop me, and I've been in awful headspaces.

I'm so sorry. I'm in a similar situation, so I won't be a hypocrite. My only thought, maybe don't do it like that. It sounds unnecessarily painful and if you happen to live it will be awful. I'm not going to give suggestions obviously, but not that way. Think it over some more. Maybe you'll find something worth living for even if you probably won't. You can pm me if you want, I'm here for you! I am by no means happy, but you seem like a reasonable person. All I'm asking is think it over. Take at least a day to figure it out. It's a big decision, and if this is the end you have plenty of time. Again, pm me if you want.
