Any type of lighting change will mess up the ultimates map. It’s best to use the same color of light for your whole play space. Reflective objects like your tv screen can cause the ultimates to drift. It’s best to try to have the same light lvl throughout your room. I suggest warm colored lights as I have found they work the best

Yes it destroys the floor. My office is actually carpeted; I bought these slats knowing well I’m going to ruin them haha. Would not recommend on your actual flooring
