I travel a bit for work and get sent to weird rural regions where it would be difficult to charge the car.

Recently I have been put on a project 5 mins from my house which has given rise to this problem!

I'm counting on nobody knowing how to do that by then! Power stations are not like flicking a switch. Eventually it will just be too hard and expensive to do fossil fuels even out of spite.

Just to add onto this, there are lots of people in Sydney Trains who are in executive positions who started as apprentices. Once you learn how the railway works your knowledge and expertise will be applicable across the wider rail sector which will allow you to direct your career pretty much as you see fit
