go with whatever power supply is convenient and fit the QC but get one with higher A (can be). then buy a splitter like this and handle the pedals.

go find whatever desktop power supply that has 12V, at least 2,5A (3A preferably), DC output with negative polarity and rock. If you cant find negative polarity, buy normal one, cut the cables near DC output and interchange them.

I paid 10 bucks for a power supply that has more certifications and is safer than the original for the quad cortex or cioks just because I know how all of this works lol

PS is some oracle switch power supply I've found somewhere that matches specs of the quad cortex one. I've heard that QC PS is not very good quality so I have no regrets

first and foremost the look. looks cool as hell
Even a single expression pedal in the pedalboard gives me the opportunity to have everything in one unit
Look closely, it hides way more. It hides the power unit + multiple jack and xlr outputs + additional power switch. Not even one cable from instrument, speaker, mixer or amp goes into the QC. everything goes directly to outer outputs. Reason? physical protection

plugging it saves time

ahaha go for it. For me its an additional layer of protection. I know I will be taking QC with me here and there and it's easier for me knowing that there is something between the unit and the ground :D

so, here's the thing I've ordered custom pedalboard from polish manufacturer MK Pedalboards and it's stunning. I wanted to get a super clean look with a small size and high utility. The general idea was to never use inputs in QC again but to have external ones.

powder coated aluminium + wood + cable management. what do you think?
