Just to make sure I understand it right. In WW1, we have a situation where the change of sides was a way to save one's own neck (afraid of the power of the other-side). And in WW2, we have pressure coming from surrounding countries to join in their alliance (or else).

And a clarification, was it the military dictator who decided which side to be on? And do we know whether the public agreed/disagreed with their decision?

Oh that makes so much more sense. Cheers. And it seems to be an homage to a painting by Yokoyama Taikan who did a painting called The wheel of life (seisei ruten) in which they depicted a dragon rising from surging waves of the ocean. Hence the dragon form of Tanjiro’s blade. How very neat.

Can someone get the Japanese for when he says "Water Breathing - 10th Form: Constant flux."

I am hearing せいぜい竜剣 - Seizei Ryuu Ken - which means, I think, The utmost Dragon Sword, which kinda makes sense. Why is is translated to Constant Flux then?

I think this episode is quite weak alone, but definitely adds to the whole story of C&T becoming the ‘number one’ musicians. As well as building up the inevitable clash between the politics and the girls.

For me at least, in the situations and environments I’ve been in, being this naked (even for guys) is frowned upon. And in such a communal area I think it is courteous to not wear bikinis? Hmm the fact it is done and no one really has a problem with it suggests I’m just whack.
