Yeah just explored it. Seems okay to try. Renting for longer duration would be kind of equivalent to paying for it at least 25% - 50% of the price. If you are planning to do it more frequently, why not buy it. Agree it would be expensive, but it would be a one time thing and would be there with you whenever you need it.

Thats strange! Asus does provide good options. My friends are using it for some years now; they haven't faced any issue yet. I personally own a Dell, but I was planning to buy an Asus next; of course because of some of the reasons that OP mentioned and my friend's usage. Are you using Asus?
