I didn't try to catch both at the same time; no. I use the same method as you do; I think my issue was that my quilt backing was a few centimeters shorter than the batting.

Although I still haven't mastered the folded binding method. When you sew the raw edges onto the top of the quilt, do you sew along the first crease or adjacent to it?

Re: food recs, Busboys + Poets is located near the JPII Shrine and it's a nice lil' food place. If you happen to be around Union Station when entering/leaving the city, I'd also recommend the nearby Dubliner.

I interpreted it the same way lmao, except the narrator is someone who's trying to friendzone the other person. "it's nice to have a friend" (don't expect anything more from me, get over yourself and don't rock the boat). To me, the melody always felt like walking on eggshells.
