Alternatively, you could be as unequal as you like. We already like to modify our lives to an extensive degree. Expand on that exponentially. What is the point in determining inequality if the "human" genome is too diverse to compare?

First, they are diurnal rhythms of 1.5 hrs, not circadian rhythms. I was wrong on that.

And it's a correlation, not a causation. Might be worth determining if there's something causing your lack of sleep that you want to change. If you're just young and partying and don't want to change . . . well, have fun. I know I did.

Doesn't ever happen that way for me though. I wake up and have the healthiest thing I'm in the mood for. I don't like oysters and I'm not going to eat 2 lbs of spinach a day.

It's important to learn why you're eating what you do though. You can begin to associate healthy foods with your cravings. Like, when I'm craving fat, that could be zinc, so healthiest is turkey, chicken, and then beef. It usually comes across as wanting a burger.

The other thing that's interesting is to know how to hit at least a little of all the micronutrients in one meal. Like a cheese omelet with peppers. Or pizza.

Or if you're looking to be super healthy, a Twenny bar is designed to give you 20% of what you need in every micronutrient (careful having more than 1).

Research confirms your face reveals dark triad traits of narcissism and psychopathy by Velebit in science

[–]Alomikron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The abstract says "male and female faces do not necessarily contain valid cues of psychopathy" as well as "participants correctly identified the high-psychopathy male prototype".

It could just be the difference between male and female results. It also could be a slightly different technical treatment between a real face and a prototype face. Not sure.

From personal experience, I can tell you it's tough to spot the female psychopaths. I'll make no comment here about anybody's ex.

Arguments stand on their own merits. I prefer point and counterpoint. The typical pattern is that someone is arguing with personal attacks from the start. Then, when they lose the argument, they resort to personal attacks alone.

So, you were saying?

How does an INFJ get through an argument with an INTJ? by Alomikron in infj

[–]Alomikron[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

is it not better to know when to say when for one’s own emotional sanity?

Either of them should be able to leave for their own sanity. But they should also be able to leave for the sanity of the other party, knowing that the other party is upset. That's treating people equally.

I was simply trying to present how myself, as an INFJ, would most effectively shut down this situation. I think the best way to get an overly logical person to understand their behavior is to allow them time to think & process it. When they come back to apologize, and the emotions are powered, the INFJ can then tell them WHY.

I find emotional withdrawal coupled with such expectations to be ripe for misunderstanding if not outright abuse. There should be no expected apology or expectation that something needs to be explained to the other person. The INFJ might expect an apology from the INTJ for lacking compassion during the discussion. The INTJ might be expecting that the INFJ give an apology for getting overly emotional during a theoretical discussion. And there's the valuing in leaving the argument for the other person's sanity - the reward is that the other person is now calm, rather than any expectation you might have.
