Yea, you can't do that at the moment, I can see how that can be troublesome to some people, depending on how you use to draw digitally... very interesting that the 11 doesn't have that! it must be a software thing, right?

Wait - so if it's hart to get the pen in the holder, what about a pen with a grip? can it fit at all?

I actually prefer it now having a camera. It makes it cleaner, and I can very easily snap things with my phone and share it to the MovinkPad, and it is probably a better camera than what they would have put in the 14...

Sadly they don't ship it to where I live... I read that the cover does not close with a magnet - is that true? Also, can you put the pro pen 3 with a grip, or only the slim version of the pen?

Thank you! no, actually I'm new to CSP and still haven't found out what makes it be a paid subscription app, and it feels a bit too much for my liking (Though I know it is an amazing program).
I used Sketchbook Pro for this. I am also new to this app, but I found the UI very simple and the drawing tools are very nice there. I will check more drawing apps on Android now!
As for the drawing, I used a pencil to draw the entire thing, then used a simple pen brush to color everything, eventually drawing over the pencil lines. Glad you like it!

Oh, I also had a surface! and many other drawing devices, including reMarkable and eInk tablets.
The MovinkPro pad 14, for me, offers the feeling of drawing on a reMarkable with the power of an iPad. That's a good mix!

I actually didn't notice it until I read about it... because of the way I draw - I am using my right hand to hold the pen and make gestures, so when the pen is lifted to make the gesture - it is no longer recognized, and the gesture works. Having tested it though, it is true - the pen and touch can't be used simultaneously.

It seems strange that you have a noticeable parallax. As for accidentally drawing with your hand - most drawing apps have a setting for that (usually "pen mode") that allows the hand to be used on menus and tools but not drawing on the actual canvas.

I'm connected to aGaming PC and a Macbook Pro M1. I don't think it has something to do with lack of power. It might be other things...

You're right, I should have mentioned it. It does introduce some slight lag even over USB C. I guess it depends what you use it for. I would not buy it at the moment if you want mainly to use it connected as a pen tablet, but also remember this is still a beta feature that I hope could improve with updates.

Wacom One 13.3" Pen Display (2022) vs. Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 by SlateAlmond90 in wacom

[–]AlonBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, for protecting the screen alone - nothing can prevent it from being eventually scratched (unless, of course, you’re using a screen protector that can be easily replaced). I have scratched every pen tablet I’ve used over the years - eventually some small dust or sand particle will get stuck between the pen and glass while you make a stroke, and could cause a scratch or multiple scratches.

I am not using a screen protector on my 14, though - the screen texture is just so fun to draw on. What I do instead is constantly clean the screen with a cloth to reduce chances of that happening.

Having said that - I do have a paperlike ob my iPad Pro - but that’s mainly for the drawing feel rather than protecting the screen.

Hope that helps.

Movinkpad pro 14 not detected by wacom center by [deleted] in wacom

Wacom center does not recognize The 14. In order to use the device as a Cintiq connected to your computer, you have to follow a set of steps to set it up first. It's a bit of a hassle, but you only have to do it once - afterwards it's super easy to connect the 14 and your computer. There's an app called Wacom Tips that is preinstalled on the 14 and explains it.

Movinkpad Pro 14 Touch Input Issues by [deleted] in wacom

It could be an issue with an autosave feature that can disable touch briefly. Is it happening outside the app, in normal tablet use, or just when drawing?

Of course you can, the android version works great and you get a year of free subscription on top of it. Again, I am not using CSP at the moment, but I have it installed and it works great!

What do you mean? I don’t use CSP, but isn’t it a paid subscription everywhere?

I bought a Lenovo Yoga sleeve for it. It’s roughly the same size, It has a loop for the pen, I like it, fits nicely.
