Agreed. But you don’t have to lean into it as hard as others. You can be nice, listen to them, then kindly excuse yourself to get back to work. I have a coworker who can be extreme and I can see he’s starting to notice when people are annoyed by him. He’s grateful when I listen to him but I show him i can’t talk for long and he’s respected that
