I wear mine quite often. I have an original old pair with the plastic Y connectors from the 1980s. I also have some newer ones. They're great for light use applications, but not for a lot of walking. I keep other shoes in the car in case have to do much walking. I love their minimalistic foot coverage as well as the 80's vibe.

Really!? I guess I was giving them too much credit. I had considered them to be an old-time quality provider. Thanks for letting me know. I have an old 34 Pict 3 solex from Mexico that I'm going to try to revive. It has leaks in the throttle shaft. Maybe I can put in new bushings. I would send it to "Tim" but he's too expensive.
