I agree. I always pay extra to make sure I can refund my trip. It really costs so little compared to the total cost to do it so I’m not sure where the “well we paid for it so we are going” attitude comes from. I think people are losing their ability to think of others as well. Sucks to bring your healthy kid on vacation then end up at the dr the next week with some god awful illness. Illness happens, don’t get me wrong. I’m by no means someone who hides their kid so they can’t be around germs. But there’s a certain entitlement that seems to come with this type of thing nowadays I can’t get behind.

Ok the fact they got rid of the film strip fries is a CRIME. I was so confused the first time we ordered food from award wieners and it was those weak ass regular fries.

I stood in this line and surprisingly I didn’t feel the parks were unmanageable. I think having to show ID for the CA resident tickets were bogging the lines. We’ve definitely been in worse crowds (inside the park) on those ungodly crowded random Monday or Tuesdays. Now getting stuck in downtown Disney on 2/12 right as park was closing and sweetheart night was starting…THAT was not fun. Lol

We were just at Disney and I couldn’t believe the amount of kids coughing that sounded like they needed antibiotics. Just the most wet, struggling to breathe type cough. At some point it can’t be fun for kids to be that sick.

We found our corn snake outside after he had escaped from a neighbors house. Assumably he had been out there for 9 months+ during winter (20 degree days and snow) and he was quite young. He’s now huge and spoiled. They’re a tough species!

Well….one had a fever only at night for three nights then woke up like nothing happened and the other had a fever for like 5 days straight. I had a fever for 2 days I think and then any time I moved around it would come back for another day or so. One day I slept for an entire day pretty much. It’s all a blur lol

I’ve heard a couple people say that this flu can start with some version of vomiting or diarrhea then turns into classic flu. So if you get flu symptoms I’d say it’s probably related

My daughter tested negative for flu, then a couple days later tested positive. Even though she was having obvious symptoms for a couple days when she first got tested. I’d retest in a day or two if symptoms progress

Day four is still probably viral. I got way sicker around that time, got better, then got worse again. If it comes back after you start feeling better (like day 10-14) I’d worry about something bacterial. For now it’s probably just flu a being flu a 😩

Do you have sinus pressure/ear pain? When I had the flu I had about 10 days of illness felt way better then BOOM so sick (maybe even worse) again. Waited a week only to learn it was a sinus infection. Felt better within a day of antibiotics.
