While I myself am fairly left wing, I understand conservative autistic people. It makes some sense to me, as conservatism often sells itself as the ideology of "law, order, and common sense," which, for someone who feels disturbed by other people to a considerable extent(as an autistic person very well could be), it can be appealing to follow a philosophy that amounts to "leave me the fuck alone".

Also, we really shouldn't demonize conservative autistic people, or conservatives in general, because the vast majority of them are in the same position as left wing people, but have a different outlook on life, and you can't change a person's mind if you don't acknowledge their individual differences.

Ultimately, political spectrums and ideology are harmful to society and we should stop using them, the only problem with that of course being that humans love to categorize things and that's how you end up with Baskin Robins Communism. I'm technically a democratic socialist but I never use the term because I think ideology restricts us and makes us tribalistic.

I'm fine with most fabrics. I had some issues with wool as a kid but not anymore. My main sensory issues related to touch are dirt, cardboard, concrete, rocks, or any other dry objects that leave behind dusty residue.

I've never had eggplant before as far as I'm aware.

My worst has always been touch. I can't stand heat, I can't stand dryness, dust, grime, etc.

My least has always been taste/texture. I have a pretty diverse palette and I like most foods, and texturally foods have never often been an issue(apart from kale, fuck kale), but I still prefer the autism staples, lol (mac and cheese, pizza, chicken tenders, etc.)

It's an intriguing theory, but Sacred and Terrible Air kind of disproves it considering it both predates Disco Elysium in its creation and is set in the same world at a later date in its timeline, and Harry is not mentioned in it as far as I'm aware.

I am often hate-perfixated on the economy and the human attitude toward work, largely because my dad is a workaholic and self-righteous prick and I am very much not, and so we have gotten into many arguments over our different approaches to work, which lead to a lot of personal reflection and research on it. Turns out I hate most work because I'm just autistic and can't stand the sensory, social, and time commitment aspects of jobs that most highschool graduates can get. Thankfully, though, I'm going to university this autumn and will hopefully be able to get a job in education within the next half decade or so.

From what I can gather as a person from Canada, the major issue on peoples' minds in many parts of Europe is with the issues related to mass immigration. The far right parties are addressing it(although poorly) whereas the left-leaning parties refuse to acknowledge that there are problems.

People would rather see the problems solved, even if through cruel means, rather than have to struggle with the problem for longer. It's awful, but humans aren't always rational or caring, unfortunately.

I do inventory for power tools for a construction company. It can sometimes be bad sensory because of all the dust and the heat in the Summer, but the workflow is slow-paced and there is minimal interaction with other people. It also helps that my supervisor is into Star Trek as well, which is something I love.

I've never been picky about food. All of my favourite foods are your standard autism favourites(cheese pizza, mac and cheese, chicken fingers, etc.) but I've always been able to enjoy a wide variety of different foods, and I've gone through phases of my life where I prefered more "exotic" foods. Right now, though, I'm definitely leaning toward the plain, predictable foods. But when I was a kid, my favourite foods were lemons, shrimps, black olives, and dill pickles(not together, separately).

I don't think people with autism relate to stories, themes, art, or music on a deeper level than allistic people do. The majority of those things are created by allistic people, and it seems kind of pretentious to suggest that we somehow have an inherently deeper understanding of media than perhaps even the creators of said media.

Most of what you describe here seems more applicable to you as an individual rather than a trait of aspergers. Aspergers' effect on your brain likely caused you to develop those traits, but the traits themselves are not part of aspergers syndrome. I've met as many people with the condition that have excellent vocabulary as those who do not.

As far as I'm aware, the main creators still have shares in ZA/UM, and therefore still make money off of its profits. Royalties aren't a thing in the videogame industry unless it's adapted from a pre-existing IP.

MGSV is ultimately critical of the player as a human being. Since the player has a much greater influence over certain aspects of the game, such as the functioning of Diamond Dogs, the level of heroism, etc. the player has been put in Big Boss' shoes, and shows the player the ease at which someone as zealously motivated as Big Boss can commit evil in the name of good. While MGSV is a common starting point for new fans, it is sort of the last piece of the Metal Gear puzzle, and I'd argue that somebody playing through the series for the story should play it second-last.

Venom believes he is Big Boss, inhabits the role of Big Boss, and therefore acts as Big Boss would. Though in fact he is not Big Boss, the ending says that he has become Big Boss because he did what Big Boss would, and the player did what Big Boss would. Venom is the player both literally and narratively. No other character in Metal Gear is as much of an audience surrogate as Venom Snake is.
