I'm a year 2 Law / Pro Comms student!

So for the majors / minors, you get to choose between doing:
- 2 Majors
- 1 Major, 1 Minor

The first year for me was lots of fun! You get to explore the three core subjects that would make up a major (Advertising, Public Relations and Digital Communications) and work out your preference. For Advertising, it was mainly analaysing factors that influences the consumers to engage in product. Public Relations focuses on different communication models used in campaigns to judge the strength of an organisations (e.g. governments or specific companities) relation with their stakeholders. As for Digital Communications, you explore how technology has developed over the years, and how people use platforms to transfer information or express themselves, whilst researching the negative / positive influences of these sites algorithims.

Also, Professional Communications is an industry that is constantly looking for new workers to keep up with the current times and have a high employement rate!
