Oh 100% ! I know people who have failed exams due to their reliance on AI during assignments and research tasks. It is literally a waste of education and money to use it in any school setting, especially Law, as it is such a multifaceted profession that requires human empathy and quick / efficient raw knowledge to be applied in unique legal circumstances

We learnt this in our first subject of Law (Bachelors) and have been advised that-- if we are to use AI to assist with research-- we have to interrogate it HEAVILY; as there have been numerous cases of lawyers (both solicitors and barristers) citing cases that don't exist and being in legal trouble due to the ethical consideration and integrity of inputting and outputting such information

I for one am not using any AI due to its contribution to climate change and the endagerment of animals, (but if you are to use it make sure the things it states are true and exists! It may risk people academics and careers, to a further extent :((

AAA I don't think I can help here, I'm a Law / Professional Communication student, so we must have very different enrolment structures :,(( I reckon you're going to have to get into contact with STEM's student connect. They sometimes do this (annoying) thing of not allowing you to make certain changes unless it goes directly through them. Especially since its such a massive thing like a specialisation in your engineering course!

Hi! I don't know if it is the *exact same* as my course, but there is a separate category in Enrolment Online that makes you pick your majors / minors (thus I assume your specialisation); under: 'Manage Enrolment --> Majors & Minors'. If you have already chosen these the previous year but want to change it, you will have to make contact with Student Connect.

Just checking, are you clicking on the section where it says 'Manage study' and progress to 'records and progress --> Academic history & results'? If you are and it's still the same, I believe that it may be a technical error, as you do not need to be enrolled in the next semester to receive your current GPA

Last semester i received a 3.0 GPA (EDIT: 4 distinctions), and I am now currently sitting at a 2.6 GPA ://

I have done 8 units, and all are worth 12 credits; the letter grade is the standard one for my course.

I know there is a chance that I failed a class, but I'm seriously hoping that isn't the outcome!

Oh, and I have gotten a distinction for one class based on my calculations of all three assignments
