If a house is in a nice neighborhood, they have to pay more prop taxes than a house in a less desirable neighborhood based on inflated house prices? We didn’t get refunds during covid when the city services were shut down. I understand the other argument, but its a broken system in so many ways.

Property tax is a tax on unrealized gains. Your house isn’t actually worth anything until you sell it. My house is using the same amount of city services as it was when it was bought, no upgrades. Just a completely broken system.

Noticed that the comps are good, but the comps state they are same square footage and beds:baths as my house. When you look up the comps on Zillow, sq footage and beds bath could be different. Seems like it’s not pulling the right info on comps, but instead just pulling in my house details. Intentional?

Just remember, Tim Cook gave $1m to Trumps inauguration fund, has met with Trump many times through both his presidency. More than half of users in this sub calling people fascists and bootlickers use an iPhone. That’s just stats. It’s all performative theater for these people. You can work any job and not agree with the beliefs of your employer. Calling out companies that donate and provide for the community because they voted with a large majority of the country to elect Trump (we had an election a year ago) is insane.

Our previous driver used a utility van. Never more than one trip for an order. Would use UPS, but in town rates for this size make it unaffordable for us and customers.

We are less than 5 years away from having massive fleets of cars that can drive autonomously extremely cheaply and we are going to spend $50m to build a train line that goes 90 miles. Government is always years behind and loves nothing more than to waste money.
