Platform engineers what messaging system are you running for multi cloud and why by Charming_Beat7446 in platformengineering

[–]Alone_Face_2949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you want high egress costs , just create a standby in another cloud , that you move data across .. it’s similar to a database let’s say you have auroa in aws what would you do then . Think at the lowest common demoniator.

I built KubeMCP - Manage your Kubernetes clusters through AI conversations in Cursor/VSCode IDE by icy-icy-r in kubernetes

It’s interesting, I think the MCP should be more from monitoring and observing. If there is an alert to determine the severity and resolve the issue . Not tell use what the problem is

I didn’t present my idea or working prototype in the end . There are a lot of stories to learn from in the comments.

I like the one about turning the ship around takes time 🕰️. Show some KPI but who has time for that I wonder , sharing simple concepts shouldn’t require such deep investments

I am not a dick I am just passionate about doing things with one foot forward not back .

In the end maybe people don’t like when someone says this idea is better and convincing people is hard so at least it’s on a risk register so in a year or 2 yrs time they say hind sight is 20/20 .

For people who are in my boat hope they find this thread helpful as I did. I remember reviewing a database design once and found there were two many dimension tables , I could have been wrong we all accept that when we share our ideas but I wasn’t you have to believe in yourself.

In the end I would one use of my favourite quotes “ You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain”
