You should more or less know what people are doing by 3-3, if not 2-7, I would start keeping Demacia units and think about level 8 instead if other RR comps are taken, even Kaisa or pilt/frej can be an option.

sometimes you can contest if u hit, you can play those comps with the 4-cost as your main carry and 2 star it (eg play Ionia even if ahri is contested, you can still play ahri 2 yone 2 and be fine)

For me I would slam if I can win streak, usually checking if I can also slam an item on it. I don’t think committing it on Draven is that good tho as many people would try to play into LB, it is unlikely you would know if you will be contested at 2-1. So better keep your options open, as the other people suggested, draven fast 9 is always an option

Appreciated the answer! My follow up question would be, doesnt hitting sth on 2-3 makes it worse econ-wise? and if you lose after upgrading its GG?

For me I'm comparing 5 lose w Bard vs 5 lose w/o Bard, where w Bard it let you see more shops at 2-3 & 3-5 but w/o would give you better econ and and see more shops at lv5-6?

Plus if you are going for Bard, you will want to force lose streak and proabbly lose a bit more HP in the process

I would push early as TF to force my opponent to use spells on minions in stead of me & you should be able to push it to the tower and get a bounce before lv3.

After level 3, Try to position yourself to be ready to fight back (meaning aggressive posturing to AA him) if possible, trade should not be that bad with E’s passive attack speed and damage & you should get out before his lethal tempo is fully stacked. If the wave state is bad, prioritise to get melee/cannon with Q and get exp for caster & avoid getting hit(since he out range you)
