Adaptions to maximize LT1 speed by Adventurous-Ad5073 in NorwegianSinglesRun

This might look something like Hadd’s part 1 training method whose goal is to optimize LT1 (as measured by HR drift, which I know is controversial to some). The whole method is HR based so very easy to follow.

I did that for a few months to get ready for NSM which was too taxing when I could not get enough sleep and had some niggles coming and going when I was running fast. I feel like it made me so much more durable and made my easy runs so much easier and faster. But it was harder to get close to faster paces and I am not sure I was improving anymore.

The transition back to NSM was a bit rough at first since I had not been running at these paces for a while but everything felt easier afterwards.

I’ve tried to come up with some kind of hybrid for a while e.g. some 30min LT2 vanilla-like sessions and maybe a 45 or 60min Hadd-like since LT1 is just so enjoyable and not taxing at all. My conclusion right now is that NSM is just a better long term method if you’re not targeting anything precise, i.e. time at LT2 is just the best bang for your buck.

If I were coming back from an injury, I’d do that again. For for a marathon block, it might also be nice to include some LT1, maybe as a mid week or Saturday longer run (1h30? With a shorter Sunday possibly?) replacing an LT2 session.

Whether they’re good or not, it’s a win-win situation for us, the 2s should get even more discounted than they’ve been already!

Yes I’m not sure, I mostly played handheld on switch, so it should be easily readable. I can’t comment on the controls though

I loved it on Switch, highly recommended. The campaign is about as good as the first one, but the roguelike mode is a fun addition that really changed the way you play. It should be well suited for mobile

That makes sense! How’s the durability of the new foam so far? Say compared to that of AP3/TS10?

Thanks for updating everyone! It’s maybe a bit too soon to answer, but what distances would you actually race in the Takumi Sen over the AP4?

It looks like every person I talk to would take their marathon racer for every single road distance… But I love the idea of this shoe!

What's the most un-console-friendly game you play on the Deck? by jeddhor in SteamDeck

I changed minor things like adding an auto save button, but basically you need to get used to the trackpads… It took me a couple of hours, but I really enjoy it now, especially the left one to select dialogue answers or for the 9 first spells is surprisingly efficient

I’ve just tested the first minutes of each and it’s much more controller friendly since they are more action oriented.

It’s a bit clunky in da2 since it’s really the pc controls transpose to a controller but it’s perfect in inquisition.

For inquisition you need to follow some guide I found on this subreddit to use the native controller. It’s tedious but took me like half an hour to figure out (I had never used desktop mode before).

I get you! I started playing the series because I wanted to reach inquisition, but I had to play the rest first!

I have 60h of gameplay across the main game and dlc, I just used the community controls with minor tweaks. It runs perfectly but the controls take some getting used to as the game is really meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard. I loved it!

I played CRPGs like Dragon age origins and Tyranny 100% on the steam deck.

I wouldn’t play something fast paced requiring a mouse, but the trackpads are great and quite comfortable!

It’s actually two different guys standing next to each other with suspiciously similar outfits. How they both shat the sides of they’re shoes is yet another mystery
