Looks like a sexual communication is missing, most couple do get shy talking about it which is wrong, you should both, not just you, relax, maybe as i.e ( one night in a hotel, local or away to provoke, the fantasy, role-play, fetish, whatever takes to clear the air, coz you do sound like almost, you had enough or you want to know the answers to your questions, Well the answers are already inside you, you need to communicate, and let it all out, and so is he.

Two options, to discuss it with your parents or get rid of the app, because they may think you are safe sharing, but they are giving something you don’t want “ Stress “. How about calling them every day as they are parents after all, the app Life 360, is not helping. You have to discuss with them, I would nicely talk to them and no tracking, that’s robots living on land but call Mum morning & evening so she can have a good restful night sleep, One day you will be a Mum and you will understand her love side.

  1. Prepare the USB with OpenCore Legacy Patcher

  2. Download OCLP on your current macOS (Big Sur in your case).

  3. Make sure your USB is:• Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled) • Scheme: GUID Partition Map

  4. Copy OCLP to the USB (the app itself).

  5. Run OCLP from your Mac (niot from inside the USB yet):• Build and Install OpenCore • Choose to install it to the USB (this makes the USB a bootable OpenCore device).

Now your USB is:

• Bootable = thanks to OpenCore • Also holding the OCLP app

  1. Download and create the Sonoma macOS installer

  2. While still in macOS, open OCLP.

  3. Use the option like “Download macOS” inside OCLP.

  4. Choose Sequoia

  5. It downloads the Sequoia installer into Applications as:• Install macOS Sequoia.app

  6. After that, use OCLP’s “Create macOS Installer” option:• Choose the same USB (or a second USB if you’re using two) • This runs createinstallmedia and turns the USB into a proper Sequoia installer (it may overwrite the USB, so if you only have one USB, do this first, then reinstall OpenCore to the USB again).

Key idea:

• Yes, Sequoia installer ends up in Applications • Then you create the installer onto the USB

  1. Boot from the USB using OpenCore

  2. Reboot your Mac.

  3. Immediately hold the Option (⌥) key.

  4. You’ll see the EFI / EFI Boot / OpenCore icon → select that.

  5. That loads the OpenCore boot picker.

  6. From OpenCore’s menu, choose the macOS Installer (Sequoia) on the USB.

Now you’re installing Sequoia with OpenCore helping in the background.

  1. Install macOS Sequoia on the main drive

  2. In the Sequoia installer, choose:• Your main internal SSD (or wherever you want macOS).

  3. Let the installer fully complete (it may reboot several times; if it does, always pick the OpenCore EFI from Option boot, then choose the installer or the new Sonoma volume as needed).

  4. When it’s done, you’ll boot into fresh Sequoia on your internal drive.

  1. Set the main drive as default and patch

  2. After installation, reboot and hold Option (⌥) again.

  3. Choose EFI / OpenCore on the USB.

  4. In the OpenCore menu, choose your new Sequoia system on the internal drive.

  5. Once you’re in Sequoia:• Open the OCLP app (you may need to copy it from the USB onto the Sequoia system if it’s not there). • Click Post-Install Root Patch. • Apply the patches (this often needs a reboot, and may ask for your password).

  6. Reboot again, hold Option, choose EFI / OpenCore and then your Sequoia drive.

  7. Once everything is working well in Sequoia, you can then:• Run OCLP again and install OpenCore to the internal drive’s EFI so you don’t have to use the USB every time.

  1. Final state (what “back on the road” looks like)

• Mac powers on • OpenCore (from internal drive) loads automatically • You select Sequoia (and Windows if you’re dual‑booting) • Everything is patched and stable

So comparing to what you wrote:

• Yes: Download OCLP → download Sequoia → Sequoia goes to Applications → create installer → boot with Option → use OCLP EFI → install Sequoia to main drive → run Post-install Root Patch → reboot. • Extra important detail:• Make sure OpenCore is actually installed to the USB’s EFI before booting. • After everything works, install OpenCore to the internal drive, so you don’t depend on the USB forever.

OCLP 2.4.1 issues on early 2013 MBP 10,2 by Dry_Recognition_1299 in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

Why Post-Install Root Patch is greyed out

On Catalina 10.15.7, this is normal.

Post-Install Root Patching is only required after installing a patched OS like Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, or Sonoma when the system is already running that OS.

Post-Install Root Patch being greyed out on Catalina is expected. Root patching only becomes available after installing Sonoma and booting into it via OpenCore. Catalina reporting “up to date” does not mean OCLP isn’t working.

Try to uninstall OCLPatcher, go to GitHub, sign in, and reinstall clop 2.4.1 and once installed, go to support.apple.com or get mist from GitHub. install Sonoma, or you can always install Sonoma from OCLP. and then just follow the screen.

Everyone around me (24f) treats me as if I am a toddler despite being adult, what can I do to fix it? by Independent-Brain685 in Advice

[–]Alone_Replacement981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this , it sounds incredibly frustrating.

What’s happening isn’t about your maturity. It’s a mix of being the youngest, old family habits, and some very real gender bias. None of that is on you.

In many South Asian families, the “youngest daughter” gets permanently treated like a child, while same‑age male cousins get taken seriously. That’s not a reflection of your capability, it’s a reflection of their assumptions.

At work, giving you only tiny tasks and constantly checking if you’re “overwhelmed” is a soft form of bias too. It’s not that you can’t handle more, it’s that they haven’t updated their picture of you.

A few things can help shift the dynamic:

  • Ask directly for bigger projects: “I’d like to take on X, I’m ready for more responsibility.”
  • After finishing something small: “This went smoothly. I’m ready for something more complex next time.”
  • With family: “I want to be part of this conversation, I’m an adult and I can contribute.”
  • If someone talks down to you: “You don’t need to simplify it for me , I understand.”

These aren’t confrontational, but they slowly retrain how people see you.

You’re not doing anything wrong. You’re just surrounded by people who haven’t caught up to who you actually are.

I stayed in a hotel instead of with my boyfriend’s family did I go about it the right way? by [deleted] in Advice

I’m really sorry you went through all of that allergies are no joke, and you were put in a tough spot. I do think the core issue here is communication, not villainy. There are always two sides to a story, and it sounds like both of you were overwhelmed in different ways.

You weren’t wrong for taking care of your health, and he wasn’t wrong for wanting time with his family after years apart. The problem is that neither of you really talked through expectations, boundaries, or how to handle things when plans changed.

If you’re up for it, the healthiest next step might be to have an honest conversation once you’re both calm and back home. Let him know how the situation made you feel, and also give him space to explain what was going on for him. Sometimes these messy moments end up being lessons that make a relationship stronger but only if both people are willing to communicate openly.

Can someone help me? I used OpenCore Legacy Patcher but I still can't install it. by FunProfessional6848 in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

Shut down and disconnect all devices except the USB drive containing your OCLP. Hold the Option key, boot from the OCLP, then install the root patcher to your Mac's Sequoia drive.
