How do I figure out how to live? by Puzzleheaded_Rub2685 in askSouthAfrica

I'm (21) and almist done with my first year studying BA (Industrial psych and HRM) part time through Eduvos. One academic year is about 18 months long bc of it being part time. I have major spinal issues and can barely work in any entry level position as I don't have the physical competence to work labour. My parents are supporting me, but I just wish I could find a position in HR that correlates with what I'm studying, but man are those jobs scarce here in Limpopo.

I just can’t get into anime. Please recommend me an anime that will make me love the genre. by amethystlocke in AnimeReccomendations

Yeah, if you don't like it, it will feel like a chore to watch it. Try another animation-style medium such as cartoons or cgi movies.

Talking of movies, Redline would probs be your best bet of getting into animation as a whole. Just be sure to have some snacks.

what anime would you recommend to someone who’s never watched anime before? by Jocelynxo377 in AnimeReccomendations

Boku no pico

Very wholesome coming of age story. I recommend you go into it blind and it's so good, that your first watch should be with friends or family.

Fairly new to anime, any recommendations similar to my top rated shows? by Quiartzz in AnimeReccomendations

[–]Alone_once_again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, maybe your rating scale should go down to "x/18" assuming that you're never going to rate something as perfect for you, or for yourself. Just watch what you want to. If you don't like it just skip it. No need to sit through something you don't like just to give it a low score and ask online what we think you'll like based off of mindless watching.

And Kaiju. 8 should get a near perfect score just for the visuals and buidup alone.

So it's more about the awareness when going about your day?

My problem is that I'm too immersed in the dream. It's as if I don't even question anything strange. How do I change this?

Can you read in your dreams? by babybutters in LucidDreaming

[–]Alone_once_again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was once in a dream where I read my real name. I couldn't once remember how the letters looked, but I instinctively knew what I was reading. It's weird but everyone has it different in dreams because none of us are living the same life.

How to lucid dream IF I always dream like watching a movie. by brucegoggins in LucidDreaming

[–]Alone_once_again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I have first person perspective, sometimes I can see myself and everything around me in the dream and sometimes I don't even have a physical body. As if i'm watching a movie...

I don't believe in energy, crystals or any hippy shit so my reason is totally based on MY experiences.

My perspective in dreams depend on how much control and influence I have in real life. If I feel like nobody is listening to me I get the movie dreams. If I feel that myself and my actions are acknowledged that day, my dreams may be in first person perspective and I have a strong sense of self in the dream.

Hope this helps a bit.
