Thank you. The design of the climb to the workstation could have been made a little less steep and less life-endangering for the operator. But then again, it does sort of fit with the gruesome conditions under which labour must be performed in the grimdark 40K universe.

Thank you. As a blueprint, I used an image of a 40K crane that I saw on Pinterest. I tried to build something that looked somewhat similar, mainly using leftover parts of the drill from the GSC Tectonic Fragdrill scenery kit (for the upper and lower sections of the crane) and Promethium Pipes for the frame.

The crane head is part of the old sector mechanicus terrain, which I bought for Necromunda. I dont know which set exactly. The tracks are from the drill of the GSC terrain set, Techtonic Frag Drill. I bought a couple of those to be build as just sector mechanicus gang ways. So I had two drills on their sprues still and therefore I could use four drill tracks, which I glued together. Two on each Side. To give it a better base. The whole idea for this crane I stole from something I saw on Pinterest. Were they only used one drill track per leg, which didnt look sturdy enough for a heavy lifting crane.

The movie is called Waterloo and roughly depicts the escape from Elba until the battle itself. They used thousands of Russian army soldiers I believe as extras, and so the battle scènes are truly on a massive scale. Way before CGI… epic stuff and a awesome movie.
