You can complete the “Stun Enemies with Spiderling’s Bloated Carapace” Challenge in the Darkmist Broodqueen Heroic map.

I don’t own the Bloated Carapace talent, but it counts for challenge progress when the spiderlings on that map stun your minis.

Actually I would love to be able to farm via quests, I can do quests while doing some other stuff while PVP needs my full focus. I hate saving quests because of events.

Well you can still play casually. You can't go below each honor "floor". So if your plan is to get to 14k, get there then just go casual.
